The cost of the product is high, although it is justified by the cool write and read speeds. Samsung uses a new type of memory that contributes to good performance. Pleased with extended warranty for 5 years. This was the last factor for me in favor of a disc from a Korean manufacturer. Now I have Windows 8.1, I'm going to upgrade to ten. With the old drive, the system booted up in half a minute, even though there is a third-generation Core i5 processor. The SSD helped speed things up. Now the operating system is loaded in 15 seconds. Photoshop also began to cover much faster. The speed of reading also affected the improvement of work with several programs. Switching between windows is almost instantaneous. The speed of reading and writing does not correspond to the declared ones, but this is not the fault of the manufacturer, but a deliberate limitation on the part of the software creators. Real numbers can only be seen in benchmarks. The price of the disc is slightly higher than similar products from other companies. Among the shortcomings, I also note the lack of intelligent software for transferring programs. The package is also poor. Why they didn’t put an adapter on 2.5 is a mystery to me, because it costs a penny. I had to buy separately. This is my second purchase of this model. The first SSD with 120 GB is installed on a desktop PC. Windows and Mac just fly (I split the drive in half and installed two systems) everything works very quickly. The second drive of 250 GB I put into the ultrabook. Everything works lightning fast. The first time, I couldn't believe the reboot; the laptop restarted so quickly. I rebooted it several times to get used to such speeds. The laptop transformed from fast to jet speed)))))) Completely satisfied with the purchase, everything works and flies. High speed of work and a guarantee for 5 years. My first experience with SSD turned out to be very successful, and I'm glad it happened with this device. Before this, I used regular hard drives or hybrid drives, but those are all child's play compared to SSD, as the speed of my laptop has increased dramatically, which is definitely pleasing.
