I give this drive 3 stars. Exactly as long as he worked. And to be more specific, the SSD worked out exactly its warranty period and that’s it, problems began. I bought the drive at the end of December 2020. It is now January 2024. The storage resource has NOT been exhausted (in total, not the full 23 TB out of 360 TB available). The SSD has not been dropped, the power supply is good. It’s just that after 3 years of operation it began to throw errors and because of it the system boots the fifth time. As soon as I disconnect the SSD from the system, everything works fine. The native SAMSUNG Magician utility, after 10 (!) hours of full scanning, is at 0%. The quick scan took 3 hours and found nothing. The firmware cannot be installed through the same utility - it says "error". It’s very sad that SAMSUNG (and this is a brand in the world of storage devices too) exceeded its warranty period and simply began to fail. Sadness is a seal. Now I doubt even the EVO series - there is a 5-year guarantee - if it works for 5 years, the resource will still have a wow, but it will simply stop functioning. Price at the time of purchase. It fulfilled exactly its warranty period and that’s it - it broke down for no reason with a huge re-recording resource remaining. |

Как так вышло, что всегда самые дорогие Самсунги, оказались самыми дешёвими среди 2ТБ+ ?

83% ємності залишилось через 3 роки користування, та 6 Тб запису та перезапису.
Аналогічний носій від Apacer з аналогічною кількістю записів та перезаписів, з тим же терміном служби має 98% ємності, тобто функціонуючих комірок.
Я не буду надто прискіпливим, адже розумію, що знос комірок також може бути через інші фактори. Але наразі в мене є проблеми лише з SSD від Samsung
Проте головне, що поки що цей SSD працює, дякую за це.
