The Whirlpool cooker hood is a 2022 solution representing the mid-price segment. The model is designed to be built into a cabinet (niche width 60 cm) and provides a sliding panel that increases the depth of the working area (air intake) from 30 to 45.5 cm. When assembled, it is as compact and inconspicuous as possible. The device is able to work on the removal or recirculation of air, is equipped with aluminium grease filters and is compatible with active filter elements (which will clean the air masses and return them to the room).

The Whirlpool AKR 749/1 NB cooker hood is equipped with a 150-watt motor, which, with moderate performance in extraction mode (195 m³/h), guarantees a low noise level (maximum value of 62 dB) and low energy consumption (corresponds to grade A). Users can choose one of three suction speeds, for which the original button control panel on the side of the case is proposed. It is also possible to turn on LED lighting, which will improve the view of the cooking area.
