— a watch face that displays the time in the form of numbers denoting minutes and seconds. Usually, it is performed in the form of an LCD display. The dials of this type are remarkable primarily for their versatility: the numbers themselves can not only show the time, but also display other data (for example, the date), and in addition to them, the display can have various auxiliary indicators. Due to this, digital watch faces are considered the most functional, they are best suited for advanced watches with extensive additional functionality; however, there are quite simple models with screens. In addition, the digital time display is much easier to read than the hand display, and is suitable even for children who are not familiar with the classic clock hands.
