Important! There are models that partially or do not fall under the Samsung marking standards at all. These may be hotel TVs or brand concepts that have not yet been precisely defined with markings, but this is rather an exception.

- Design, stand shape, case color. Within the model, the manufacturer can change these parameters, and this is the information that this designation contains.
- Digital tuner type:
- K — DVB-T2/C;
- U — DVB-T2/C/S2;
- T — 2xDVB-T2/C/S2;
- F — ATSC / QAM (USA, Canada).
- Sales region(auxiliary symbol "X" is used in codes of all models):
- UA — Ukraine;
- XU - Europe or UK;
- ZA - USA etc.

2. Marking of QLED and OLED models
Now let's look at TVs with quantum dot technology (QLED) and with OLED matrices. As we already mentioned, the markings for them are slightly different.

- Device type. "Q" is the QLED TV line. It is also used in OLED models, even if they do not have quantum dot technology.
- Sales region:
- E — Europe;
- N — USA and Canada.
- Screen diagonal in ".
- Matrix type:
- Q — QLED;
- QN — Neo QLED;
- S — OLED.
- Series and model:
- Two digits are used for UHD (4K);
- Three - for top-end TVs with 8K resolution.
- Year of issue:
- D — 2024;
- C — 2023
- B — 2022
- A — 2021.
- Model generation(the manufacturer may make minor changes to the technical specifications after release):
- A — first generation;
- B — second generation.
