Suitable for both casual and business style, numerous internal pockets, holds its shape well in any condition, is not afraid of moisture, a suitcase mount.

Square shape for an amateur.

As you can guess from the name, the Mi Classic Business Backpack is a variation of the classic backpack from Xiaomi. It has a standard universal design that will suit both casual and business style. However, not everyone likes its almost square shape, in the comments to the product you can periodically stumble upon comparisons with Glovo backpacks and boxes from Death Stranding.

But the internal device here is such that you can't dig in: both compartments are generously flavored with numerous pockets for documents, wallet, power bank, tablet, laptop (15-inch models fit) and other electronics. From the unusual, we note a small jumper on the back, with which you can fix the backpack on the handle of the suitcase. Separately, we note that the backpack turned out to be quite roomy and holds its shape well in any condition, without inflating and turning into a shapeless something when it is empty inside.

The convenience is also in order. The S-shaped straps do not rub or press even with prolonged wear. In the lower part there is a special coating that is not afraid of bumps and moisture. That is, the backpack can be safely put on asphalt or snow. In addition, the Mi Classic Business Backpack is not afraid of water: the durable and wear-resistant fabric has water-repellent properties, so in order to really get wet, you actually need to throw it under a downpour for 30 minutes. At the same time, the main zipper on the front pocket also has protection from water, but the rest of the zippers are not so lucky, so it is through them that water can leak into the backpack.

The Tigernu T-B3269 urban backpack is focused more on technogics than adherents of going to the gym or swimming pool. The distinctive features of the model are a simple and concise design, quick access to the main compartment, numerous internal pockets for electronics and an external USB port for recharging dead gadgets.

Most manufacturers have solved this problem easier — there is a hole at the exit of the pocket for the power bank that allows you to stretch the wire to the pocket with a smartphone or tablet. Tigernu designers have established a connection with the power bank hidden in the backpack using a full-fledged USB port. By itself, nothing will charge the backpack. In general, this option seems to be more confusing, but it helps out a lot when you need to hold a dead electronics in your hands for one reason or another. For example, if you are talking on the phone or looking for a route in an unfamiliar city in Google maps.

The versatile Casual design and wide functionality in a fairly compact size make this model an excellent choice at any age. The material of the backpack is durable and water—resistant oxford. Inside there are many convenient pockets and compartments that allow you to store everything in its place. The volume of 16 liters is designed primarily for electronics and small things, it will not be possible to load it in a supermarket or fit boxing equipment inside. At the same time, the external laptop pocket is designed for 15-inch models, so there is no need to infringe on yourself in any way. In terms of protection, everything is as simple as possible: the fabric is waterproof, and there is an additional combination lock to protect the zipper from opening.

Convenience, numerous internal pockets, is not afraid of moisture, sealed walls and bottom to protect the laptop, accommodates 17-inch laptops.

Cheap fabric from which internal partitions are made.

HP has long had its own division, which is engaged in the production of backpacks for the company's equipment. The hero of this review, the Omen backpack is designed primarily for carrying large and heavy gaming laptops of the Omen series. Externally, Omen Gaming Backpack is quite simple, minimalistic and clearly designed for the city, not hiking. The usual rectangular shape and black colour are diluted with red accessories, stripes with the Omen logo and red fabric of the inner pockets.

The backpack has two main compartments (one for a laptop with electronics, the second for things) and 3 external compartments for small things, water bottles, etc. In general, the location of the pockets here is more than thoughtful, and the internal volume allows you to fit inside a bunch of electronics and everyday things. I didn't like it, except that the fabric from which the internal partitions are made is too simple. Although, this is already a quibble.

The quality of the tailoring is at a high level, and the whole design is sharpened so that the laptop is protected, and you don't have to carry it strenuously. This manifests itself in comfortable straps and anatomical back, moisture-proof fabric and a large amount of filler, which is stuffed with the outer walls and bottom of the backpack. This made it possible to protect an expensive laptop from rain and accidental falls as much as possible. Judging by the reviews on the web, the laptop hidden inside the Omen Gaming Backpack can be safely smacked onto the asphalt from a metre high and nothing will happen to it. Although we would not test this in fact — it feels like the walls are not so dense as to hope for 100% protection.

Versatility, large volume, RFID tag to protect the credit card, the fabric is not afraid of moisture and cuts, metal mesh and slings in the fabric and straps, a carabiner lock for attaching a backpack, a zipper lock.

Price.

Pacsafe company successfully specializes in "anti-theft" urban backpacks that reliably protect personal belongings in dense urban traffic. The Pacsafe Metrosafe LS450 model is from the same opera and offers a serious set of protective measures.

The most interesting feature of the Metrosafe LS450 is an RFID tag sewn into the fabric, which protects against wireless scanning of devices and bank cards. External protection consists of a carabiner for fixing on fixed objects, a special arc that fixes the zipper tab and a zipper lock. The frame is reinforced, and a steel mesh and steel slings are sewn along the straps, which should protect if the backpack is tried to be cut or sharply torn off the shoulder. Plus, dense nylon is not afraid of water and is resistant to pollution.

The backpack turned out to be thin, light and relatively compact. The internal organization does not require getting used to, if you once already had a backpack: there is a large main compartment, there is a smaller external compartment, there is an internal pocket for a laptop (15-inch models fit), there is an organizer pocket and a small internal pocket for small change and a phone. That's all. As if the designers were striving for maximum simplicity.

Perhaps the main charm of the Metrosafe LS450 is its versatility. Despite the calculation of carrying electronics, it can just as well be considered as the most ordinary backpack for going to the gym or the store. The internal volume of 25 liters allows you to fit quite a lot of things inside. Although, the backpack itself, because of all the protective measures, turned out to be not the cheapest.

A shoulder strap and a carrying handle, opens 180 degrees, numerous internal pockets for electronics, the fabric is not afraid of moisture and cuts, a metal frame along the body, "anti-theft" zippers, a carabiner lock for attaching a backpack, an external USB port, a suitcase mount.

Price, small volume.

The guys from XD Design found an interesting niche by manufacturing fancy backpacks for electronics with increased reliability. It all started with the successful application of the "anti-theft" Bobby backpack on Kickstarter, and resulted in a full-fledged XD Bobby line. The new Bobby Bizz develops these ideas even more, being one of the most protected backpacks on the market.

Externally, it is the epitome of minimalism: a black shell under the skin with the company logo, a clear rectangular shape, a minimum of identification marks. It is unlikely that someone will find it beautiful, but this is done on purpose to attract less attention. But with the convenience of a complete order, in addition to the straps, Bobby Bizz has a carrying handle and an additional strap to carry it as a bag. That is, it is actually a 3 in 1 option: a backpack, a shoulder bag and a case with a handle. Plus there is a suitcase mount, which further expands the options for carrying. Like the original Bobby model, the Bizz can be opened in three positions — from the top with a small slit, about 30 degrees and, having unbuttoned the internal clamps, completely 180 degrees, like a suitcase. The total number of compartments is 7, plus the main compartment inside. Judging by the number of internal pockets, they are all designed primarily for electronics, not carrying things. Yes, and an external USB port for power bank hints at this.

In terms of reliability, Bobby Bizz has become even cooler than its predecessors. Firstly, a metal frame is hidden in the base of the backpack under a layer of foam rubber, which adds rigidity and protects the contents from shaking and light shocks. The second line of defense is several layers of strong fabric on each side, which, according to the manufacturer, is not afraid of cuts. At least, it will definitely not be possible to cut it imperceptibly. The same fabric protects the contents of the bag from moisture. The next one is hidden zippers and locks. This is a plus from the point of view of security, but a minus in ease of use, since locks have to be searched under the skin, and the zippers themselves are difficult to unbutton. The last bastion of defense is a combination lock-carbine, which serves as a fastening for one of the shoulder straps. With its help, the backpack can be fastened to a stationary object (if it suddenly needs to be left) or to the shoulder with an additional loop. In this case, the robber will not be able to abruptly tear it off his shoulders and run away.

Finally, it is important to note that the volume of Bobby Bizz is only 12 liters, so it is unlikely to suit those who plan to carry not only a laptop and a laptop every day. Plus, it costs almost 3 times more than a regular laptop backpack like the Xiaomi Mi Classic Business Backpack.
