The features and parameters of the new products can be compared in the table. The entire range of panels available for sale can be viewed in full TV catalog.

Excellent image quality and image enhancement technology for its price category, curved screen gives the design originality, the new Tizen platform.

The curved screen presents requirements for the placement of viewers, the frame rate is not as high as that of competitors, the power consumption is higher than usual, there is no 3D.

Samsung UE-48J6300 48 "

The J6300 series includes the best Full HD Samsung 2015 models, in the "older" series — only Ultra Full HD TVs. Therefore, if you are not ready to buy a 4K panel yet, but you want a TV with excellent image quality, include Samsung UE-48J6300 in the list of candidates for purchase. According to the results of tests in a number of specialized publications, he received excellent marks (for example, "Product of the Year 2015" from What Hi-Fi?) — this is one of the most successful models in its class. A small nuance that does not play a significant role is that the viewing angles of the panel are not perfect. Otherwise, there are no reasons to criticize the image (taking into account the price).

In addition, the device has additional features to increase brightness and contrast. Micro Dimming Pro local dimming technology allows you to achieve greater depth of black colour and greater purity of white. In addition, the technology of expanding the colour rendering range of Wide Colour Enhancer Plus is involved here, which gives more accurate boundaries of the colour areas of the image. And the refresh rate of the screen, although not very high, however, allows you to maintain the clarity of the picture in dynamic scenes.

UE-48J6300 is a TV with a concave screen. It is distinguished by a strict refined design, the screen frame is made almost invisible, the central support repeats the bend of the screen and increases the stability of the structure. There is a standard VESA wall mount (size 400x400), although a curved TV looks better in the corner of the room, not on the wall. How does the curved screen affect the image? On the one hand, the buyer will get a new feeling from viewing. For example, this is expressed in the constancy of the perception of sharpness over the entire area of the screen. On the other hand, the area of the optimal seating area of the audience decreases (those sitting on the edge may notice geometric distortions). One more point: the light source behind the viewer's back will be more noticeable. So it's worth taking a thoughtful approach to finding a place for TV.

The device with a 4-core processor works under the guidance of the new Tizen platform. It has ample features for entertainment and a friendly user interface. In addition to watching TV programs or videos from local storage, you have at your disposal all the variety of the Internet – from chats and news to IPTV and video games. It's just a pity that some services in some countries work with restrictions. In addition to the usual remote control, the device can be controlled using mobile gadgets or even with "bare hands" — gestures. In general, as before, Samsung is one of the most "smart" TVs.

A good balance of image quality and equipment with a relatively small price.

The frame rate is not as high as that of competitors, three, not four HDMI inputs, there is no Skype and 3D.

Panasonic TX-50CSR620 50 "

The TX-50CSR620 is a mid—level panel in the 2015 Panasonic lineup. In the novelty, according to the manufacturer, a bright panel of a new structure is installed, which transmits light better, in combination with an effective LED backlight system. Therefore, the brightness reserve is enough for viewing in any conditions without loss of quality. Intelligent dimming of the backlight enhances the transmission of saturated black in dark scenes and bright tones in light frames. And for smooth reproduction of fast-moving objects, the backlight technology with a frequency of 200 Hz works. It neutralizes resolution loss and motion jitter by sequentially turning off the backlight areas during processing of each frame. Although the more expensive models have a higher frame rate.

Panasonic continues to use its own Smart TV platform. Perhaps it is not as cute as LG's, and not as functional as Android models, but it includes many interesting options. So, TV Anywhere allows you to access your TV from a tablet or phone via an Internet connection — that is, from anywhere. You can assign a broadcast recording or, for example, broadcast the broadcast or recorded content from the TV to your device. The DLNA content transmission standard is also supported. But Skype support is not announced, unlike other models in our TOP 5.

As with the models of previous generations, the on-screen interface is configured for quick access to the most used functions. In addition to the standard remote control, you can use a mobile gadget with the free Panasonic TV Remote application installed on it. The main controls are also duplicated by the buttons on the right side of the rear panel. In addition, some functions in the menu can be activated using voice commands.

The TV has a built-in Wi-Fi module and a USB media player that supports many formats: AVI, MKV, WMV, MP4, MP3, WMA, FLAC, JPEG, etc. The TX-50CSR620 works with digital DVB-T and -T2, DVB-C signals, there is also an analogue tuner. It has three HDMI inputs with 4K 60/50p support with HDCP2.2, while the others have four HDMI. One of them has a reversible sound channel function, which is important if there is a soundbar or receiver. For outdated video sources, a component and composite video input is installed. The output of sound to the receiver is via an optical audio output and to the headphones is via a special cut (like all the models we are considering).

Good quality settings "out of the box", Android TV, suitable for games, touch remote control.

The price is higher than that of competitors.

Sony KDL-50W805C 50 "

Like other Sony BRAVIA TV cameras, since 2015, the KDL-50W805C has been running on the Android TV platform. Access to Google Play gives the owner of such a TV an additional variety of content and applications. There is a voice search or a quick one-motion search One–Flick Entertainment is part of the overall intuitive interface. The optional One-Flick remote control allows you to work in the menu using the touch panel.

The USB HDD REC function allows one-touch recording and timer recording of digital broadcasting to an external hard drive with a USB port and a capacity of up to 2 TB. Videos and pictures of almost all current formats and codecs are played via USB. The model has rich switching compatibility, including 4 HDMI ports. You can connect to it, for example, a PC, a console, a media player and a receiver. Sony is also able to show movies from the air (built-in tuners work with all broadcasting standards), the network and the Internet via cable or Wi-Fi (including Wi-Fi Direct) and from Android devices. The duplication of the smartphone screen to the TV is supported — thanks to the MHL cable connection. Connecting a smartphone to a TV simultaneously provides charging.

The screen received a thin, strict aluminium frame, with a refined aluminium stand-frame. The complete mount simplifies installation on the wall, there are special protrusions on the back wall for this.

The image quality of a Full HD TV with direct LED illumination corresponds to its class. As noted in the reviews, this model has good quality settings right out of the box. The KDL-50W805C supports the latest version of Motionflow XR, providing smooth dynamic scenes. The Motionflow XR motion display improvement system is implemented at a frequency of 800 Hz — in this regard, Sony wins over the more affordable Samsung and Panasonic models. Moreover, this is important not only for watching TV and movies, but also for games. Sony BRAVIA are traditionally a good choice for owners of consoles and PCs (who have already appreciated the advantages of playing on the big screen). In a special mode, the input signal delay is minimal — it is comfortable to play. You can also try what Google Play offers. And at the same time, by the way, you can use a PlayStation gamepad or another model.

The built-in acoustics of the TV is complemented by a phase inverter. A special wireless subwoofer (purchased separately) will significantly improve the sound of the system. You can experiment with different sound enhancement technologies. For example, DSEE compensates for the losses that occur when digital audio is compressed (for example, in soundtracks of old movies not released on Blu-ray).

Natural, "live" picture, Android TV, Ambilight, functional remote control, compatible with multiroom products of the brand, consumes little energy.

There are no 3D glasses included, the price is higher than that of less equipped "smart" TVs.

Philips 55PFT6510 55 "

A 55-inch Philips TV with Ambilight will require, first of all, an appropriate environment. A smooth white wall, at least half a metre on the sides of the screen, is best suited. Viewing is preferable in the evening, in dim lighting — this is how the Ambilight side illumination will appear especially effectively, "continuing" the colours of the image beyond the screen boundaries. This provides more viewing experience. In addition, it works in several modes — you will have the opportunity to choose the most optimal for different situations (movies, games, etc.) In comparison to this, the central TV stand looks somewhat old-fashioned, and the modernity of the model is emphasized only by a rather narrow screen frame.

This Full HD TV with Android TV (its capabilities are similar to the Sony model) can be perceived as a very large Android tablet with remote control. It has a 2-core processor and 8 GB of memory (it can be expanded using USB). For the convenience of control, the remote control is two—sided. On the one hand — the usual configuration, on the other — a specialized alphanumeric keyboard. In addition, the Spotify Connect app allows you to play music from your phone on your TV using your phone as a remote control.

Philips 55PFT6510 is one of the few TVs on the market that supports the proprietary multiroom system, in both "client" and "server" versions. This means that the content from the TV can be distributed simultaneously to several neighboring rooms, or the device can receive and reproduce such content, receiving commands from any room. The Philips TV Remote application provides a "TV Guide" and "Video on Demand" mode. In addition to a wired network connection, the device supports dual-band Wi-Fi.

Video playback gives a positive impression. Perfect Natural Motion technology increases the number of frames in a video to 100 per second, preventing image shake or displacement, especially in dynamic scenes. Micro Dimming Pro optimizes the contrast of the image on the TV depending on the lighting conditions, and the Philips Perfect Pixel HD processor provides increased clarity.

The model supports active 3D technology, however, glasses may not be included in the kit. If desired, they can be purchased separately. Otherwise, there are no complaints about the equipment. There are 4 HDMI inputs on board (one of them is with a return audio channel) and 3 USB ports. And switching provides analogue connections for video and audio signal sources of different generations. Finally, thanks to the A++ energy efficiency class, this model consumes about one and a half times less energy than competitors (about 60 watts).

Excellent image quality, correct display of fast movement, 4 pairs of glasses included, curved screen highlights the model against the background of "flat" competitors.

The curved screen presents requirements for the placement of viewers, there is no wall mounting in the delivery package, and the price is high (as with all OLED panels).

LG 55EC930V 55 "

The main problem of LCD matrices is the display of black colour. The matrix works on the lumen and completely black can result in a complete overlap of the luminous flux, which the technology itself does not allow. A lot of marketing tricks have been invented for this, but the problem has not been completely solved.

LG 55EC930V — 55-inch Full HD OLED TV. The problem of black is solved here by definition. A completely black pixel just doesn't light up. Therefore, LG prefers to demonstrate OLED models at exhibitions in almost complete darkness, showing videos with numerous dark gradations. The LG 55EC930V contrast level is unattainable for traditional LCD panels. You can't find fault with the viewing angles either.

The TV has a concave panel with a modern frame support and a vanishingly thin frame. A fairly wide black stripe with the brand logo in the centre runs along the bottom side of the screen. Note that it is problematic to hang the panel on the wall. A standard VESA mount is not provided, and a unique branded bracket is ordered separately. A glossy concave surface can glare and it is better to exclude unnecessary light sources from the viewing room. To be fair, we add that there is a slight concern about maintaining the white balance of the OLED panel throughout its entire service life — only time will answer this question. However, you will forget about all these nuances when you start watching movies. And this TV will definitely allow you to review all your favorite movies and TV series, and with it you will want to do it.

LG 55EC930V is a representative of the new generation of LG Smart+ TV on the webOS platform, which includes a full—fledged browser and access to network services and devices. The interface is not bad, various Smart TV functions are supported, and access to many menu items is optimized to minimize the number of clicks on the remote control buttons. At the same time, the first months of use showed the presence of small system slowdowns, which are likely to go away with the use of new firmware.

The additional Magic Remote, made using gyroscopic technology, makes the LG Smart TV control really pleasant. With it, you can control the cursor in the menu, play, etc. The built-in multituner supports not only all current broadcasting options, but also contains in memory configuration options for some digital cable TV operators. And from the point of view of interface equipment, this model almost does not differ from more affordable LCD models (there is nothing unusual, except NFC). LG has 4 HDMI and 3 USB, supports MHL, Miracast, DLNA, WiDi, Simplink (device management via HDMI), Wi-Fi Direct. Separately, it is worth mentioning the support of the polarizing version of 3D technology, which, by itself, has already lost popularity and is rarely used in new models — four pairs of passive glasses included.
