A diskless media receiver on a shortened chassis in the popular 1DIN form factor. The model has a built-in Bluetooth wireless adapter, a radio tuner with memory for 18 stations, which provides reception of broadcasts in the FM and AM bands, a slot for a full-size SD card with a maximum capacity of 32 GB. Also on the front panel of the Blaupunkt BPA 1119BT are a USB port and an AUX line-in.

A 4-channel power amplifier is built into the radio, which produces a nominal output power level of 4 x 20 W, peak — 4 x 40 W. For flexible sound settings, a 4-band parametric equalizer is provided with a ready-made set of Pop, Rock and Classic presets. The backlight of the buttons on the front panel of the head unit is blue, the characters on the screen of the car radio are displayed in white. The backlight brightness is adjustable. The extended functionality of the device is revealed by the Bluetooth module — it allows not only wireless streaming of music from a paired smartphone, but also a hands-free function.
