A digital compact with decent optics providing f/1.8 – f/2.8 aperture (focal length – 24 – 100 mm). The matrix of the device also does not lag behind — it is a large-format (1 ") 21-megapixel sensor with ISO 125 – 12,800 aperture. The Canon PowerShot G5X camera is suitable not only for taking pictures, but also for recording video up to Full HD (60 fps), for which also comes in handy with a microphone audio input. The device supports Wi-Fi and NFC wireless standards, through which it connects to smartphones and tablets. From the latter, you can also control the camera. The weak side of the device is battery life (up to 210 photos on a single charge).

This iron would be given normal control and price!

Good potential with bad marketing

1 - a fairly large matrix in a compact package
2 - good viewfinder and excellent swivel screen
3 - the presence of a hot shoe for human flashes
4 - fast lens

1 - no jeep settings
2 - no color space settings
3 - the presence of an AA filter
4 - viewfinder eyepiece sticks out too much
5 - with these shortcomings, the price is very high
