Initially, I wanted a VA panel for the awesome contrast. But all the VA panels that matched my requests were curved. Chasing refresh rates over 180Hz doesn't really make sense. I could have gotten a monitor 10,000 cheaper... 240Hz, 27", QHD. The stand is heavy, wide, and sophisticated, allowing you to adjust it however you like. On a bright background, the images/colors are excellent. The backlight bleed and glow effect are disappointing. The backlight bleed isn't strong, but on a black background, it stands out and amplifies the glow effect. Every time you notice it, it annoys you and almost negates all the positives. I also suspect that backlight bleed may occur when the panel is installed in a frameless case because the panel is inserted unevenly. The left, top, and right edges of the panel are recessed into the case by a millimeter. The bottom edge in the center protrudes forward by half a millimeter beyond the case. The response time setting is only on the weakest mode; otherwise, the image flickers (overshoot). It also creaks and snaps with temperature changes. Every time you turn it off and it cools down or when you heat the room in winter. It snaps so loudly that you worry it won't turn on the next time. There is no VESA mount.
