High image quality is provided by a screen based on a full-fledged 8-bit IPS-matrix with W-LED backlight and a resolution of 1920x1080. Dell P2717H demonstrates high definition, good colour reproduction and a maximum brightness of 300 cd / m², which is enough for comfortable work in any ambient light. The nominal static contrast ratio is 1000:1 and the image retains it even at fairly extreme viewing angles (up to 178 degrees).

The matrix has fairly large pixels with a pitch of 0.311 mm, an acceptable GtG response time of 6 ms, and supports Dell ComfortView technology, which reduces the intensity of the blue component of the backlight spectrum, which ultimately helps prevent eye fatigue. The monitor is equipped with a convenient and multifunctional stand that provides adjustment of the screen tilt angle and screen position in all three planes, there is a 90-degree rotation function (portrait orientation). There are three options for connecting to a signal source: HDMI v1.4, DisplayPort v1.2 and analogue VGA port. In addition, the monitor is equipped with a USB 3.0 hub.

PRO level monitor

Dell P-series monitors are truly a PRO level. Excellent in all respects, devices that are perfect for both home and professional use. Two 2412Ms worked at my house for a long time and they proved themselves from the very best side. But there is never a lot of workspace and I decided to organize a four-monitor configuration. As a basis I chose this model.

What customers love about the R-series of Dell is its consistently high quality and impeccable functionality. Only by buying these monitors can I be sure that there will not be a single broken or hot pixel on the matrices. Indeed, neither I nor my friends-acquaintances to whom I recommended these monitors for purchase have never had any problems. It's simple, they are carefully tested before being sold, and defective copies simply do not go on sale. Dell also provides a FULL THREE-YEAR WARRANTY on P-series monitors. Name me at least one more manufacturer that sells monitors on such terms. That's right, and I don't know. As for these particular instances, they all turned out to be flawlessly working as one and got into work without any problems. I assembled the configuration based on a card from AMD, I connected the monitors with DisplayPort cables. Two monitors stand on their powerful stands, and two more are directly above them on WECA-brackets. The color rendition is absolutely the same on all 4 copies.

The only remark and then sucked from the finger, I can make for the backlight. With a black fill of the entire screen, all 4 copies have small highlights at the edges, but in real tasks it is impossible to see them.

Привет, то же прикупил недавно Dell P2317H, но что то мне кране не нравится цветопередача. В некоторых моментах он кажется слишком блеклым, в некоторых темноватым. Старый монитор стоит рядом, сравниваю с ним.

Не могли бы вы поподробнее расписать кто какие настройки использует?
