The gadget is one of a kind. I'd even say it's not for everyone. With all due respect to DJI, this is the first time I've encountered their aggressive marketing. I have a mavic air. I didn't feel hurt there. I even felt it here. The camera itself is wonderful, as they say in Ukraine - Bimba. But the pancake stub needs to be managed somehow. Programmatically, they added buns for control, but they are all inconvenient) Let's just say that it is very difficult to control the camera without additional buns at 100%. At a minimum, you should have a wheel to control + a platform for a tripod. The quality of the shooting is excellent, however, the metering is often very wrong, shading the image. It is possible to pull out. but difficult. You can not download files from the camera, you need to buy a card reader for the card. The microphone cannot be connected without an adapter or a wireless module. The battery actually lasts 90 minutes, no more. If you use branded transitions, but the DJ sculpts his label on the video - well, this is a complete PPC. I am happy with the camera. but I still have to buy accessories for 200 bucks. The viewing angle is really small, but it's just right for me, I want to shoot cinematic correct videos, and not stretched garbage. The recording quality is simply amazing. The stabilization is great. requires virtually no post-processing. if you do not shoot in the backlight. Very compact and nice carrying case included. Complete set is so-so, except for the case and the wire, there is nothing else. It is very difficult to control the stub without an additional wheel that you need to buy. Strongly overshadows objects in bright light.

Почему? Разве есть аналоги? У меня GoPro4 Black + Fly4 3х осевой. Камеру не раз легонько пережал - корпус на Говпрохе треснул + от старости Говпро трескается даже в местах, где и не должна и вообще годами лежит и малость снимает. Для Fly4 тащу коробку огромную. Жуть какая неудобная. В карман не положишь. Пока достанешь камеру, потом думай куда деть коробку... Отстой. Приятель дал попробовать Osmo Pocket. Какая-то детская она мне показалась, но прикольно что угол киношный. Мне нравится не екшен. Дальше я офигел, что с чехла достал и камера готова к съемкам. Чехол швирнул в карман в штаны и забыл. В момент выключения камера паркуется на 90 градусов и в чехол легко влетает за считаные секунды. Круто придумали. Ну и режим слежения очень порадовал. В Fly такого нет. Панорама мне не нужно, но она есть. Также друг айфон подключал и меня это немного разстроило. Как-то дерьмово эта парнуха смотрится, но можна тыкать пальцем за чем следить, куда направить взгляд. На много круче Fly. |

From amateur to pro
It was created to help people who are not very versed in the nuances of video shooting, to make videos of almost professional level. Therefore, there is a simple one-hand operation, high image quality (thanks to the large matrix), a shooting rate of 60 frames per second and effective mechanical shaking suppression. Well, if this is not enough, Osmo Pocket can be purchased with accessories such as a tripod, monopod, smartphone holder, bike mount or a set of filters that expand the capabilities of the built-in camera.
Fits comfortably in the hand
Outwardly, Osmo Pocket resembles a small stabilizer for smartphones phones: a handle, a screen and a camera with a balancing system. The size is as compact as possible, it lies like a glove in the hand, and due to its low weight (116 grams), hands do not get tired of it, as from heavier stabilizers. Camera control is also sharpened under one hand, you can start recording, switch to the camera or change shooting modes with your thumb without looking up from the camera.
Quality camera
As for the camera, the DJI Osmo Pocket is equipped with a 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor with 12 million effective pixels. Optics received f / 2.0 aperture and a focal length of 26 mm. The maximum video quality is 4K, the maximum photo resolution is 4000×3000. If we move away from dry numbers towards subjective impressions, then the cameras shoot very well, this is more than enough for travelers and Youtube bloggers. I especially liked that in case of bad camera it adjusts well and does not suffer from overexposure or darkening. Plus, the quality of stabilization is excellent. I didn’t like it, perhaps not the largest viewing angles of the camera. Well, in the tracking mode, Osmo Pocket sometimes quit tracking an object or accidentally switched to another one.
140 minutes of continuous footage
In terms of battery life, we have somewhere around 140 minutes of work when shooting videos in Full HD and a little less than an hour if we set the quality to 4K. This is not so much, but fortunately you can connect a power bank to the camera or buy a special case with an extra battery.

Well, talking about a decent price (about $400) will be out of place here, since the device is unique and it essentially has no competitors.
