I use the speakers as the main ones for the computer. One speaker is passive, it is connected to the active one using the terminals and cable included. The cable is very long, the length is enough even to place the speakers in different corners of the room. The kit also included cables 2RCA to 3.5 jack and 2RCA to 2RCA. Connected to my sound card via minijack. The bass is adjustable with a knob on the rear panel, set once and forget it. But the rest of the controls on the active speaker on the side, very convenient.
