In terms of length, the GC-CT 18/24 Li-Solo does not differ from the "solid" household version but has an important ergonomic advantage in the form of smooth shaft length adjustment in the range of 500 — 950 mm, which will appeal to people of medium and small height. You can even adjust the angle of the auxiliary handle with a fixing step of 10°, making this unit truly versatile. The kit also includes a U-shaped protective frame that saves the blade from direct contact with hard surfaces (tree trunks, metal posts, curbs, foundation).
The capacity of the "included" 3.0 Ah battery lasts a real 1 hour and 15 minutes when mowing our fairly dense and tall grass, and the weight difference between it and the "dwarf" 1.5 Ah battery is absolutely unnoticeable thanks to the trimmer's excellent balance, and it charges in just 1 hour.
The only drawbacks I will mention are the high noise level during operation (the motor roars at the claimed 90 dBA) and the mowing head's demanding nature regarding the correct installation of the blade (if the blade is installed with the marking inside, it will break within 5 minutes of mowing). Earplugs save from the increased noise.
