The length of the GC-CT 18/24 Li-Solo does not differ from the “one-piece” household version, but has an important ergonomic advantage in the form of smooth adjustment of the rod length in the range of 500 - 950 mm, which will appeal to people of medium and short stature; You can even adjust the angle of the auxiliary handle in 10° increments, making this unit truly versatile. The kit also includes a U-shaped limiting frame that protects the knife from direct contact with a hard surface (tree trunks, metal posts, curbs, foundations).
The capacity of the “complete” 3.0 Ah battery is enough for a real 1 hour 15 minutes when mowing our rather thick and tall grass, and the difference in weight between it and the “dwarf” 1.5 Ah battery is absolutely imperceptible thanks to the successful balancing of the trimmer, and It charges in just 1 hour.
Among the shortcomings, I will only mention the high noise level during operation (the engine roars at the stated 90 dBA) and the demands of the mowing head on the correct installation of the knife (if the knife is installed with the markings inward, it will break after 5 minutes of mowing). Earplugs save you from increased noise.
