If you are not a supporter of being like everyone else, but standard mounted hoods are fed up, the unusual and elegant Elica Seashell F/80 will definitely suit your taste. The design of the device is strikingly different from its counterparts. At first glance, it is even difficult to recognize a kitchen hood in it, as it is easy to confuse it with a large chandelier. The model is presented in three colours: white matte, black matte and shiny steel.
High performance
The claimed capacity of 1200 m3/h will be enough, even if you plan to arrange a daily feast for the whole world. Thanks to these indicators, the device can be used not only in the home kitchen, but also for industrial purposes. Despite the high power, the device is relatively quiet (67 dB at maximum mode). The perimeter suction function significantly enhances the efficiency of indoor air purification, allowing the use of large cooking surfaces in conjunction with the hood.
Controls and functions
When turned on, the decorative bottom panel lifts up to provide access to the filters.
The device operates in recirculation mode, and a grease filter is responsible for cleaning the air from soot and smoke, which is easy to clean using a soft sponge and non-abrasive detergent. Unfortunately, you will have to guess intuitively about the contamination of the filter, since there is no corresponding indicator. An active filter can also be installed here, which must be replaced with a new one after contamination.
The model has three speeds and an intensive mode. There is also an integrated shutdown timer that automatically turns off the hood after a set time has elapsed. It is proposed to control the device using a stylish remote control, which is designed to stand upright. This solution is provided so that you do not lose it among the kitchen utensils.
