    good model, I liked it
    28 July 2016
When I hear the phrase navigator for cyclists, the first brand that comes to mind is Garmin. This is my second navigator of this brand, and if the first one had not been stolen, then I would have used it for a long time.
Equipped with all sorts of "to the brim" features. There is a built-in world map and a separate topographic map of Ukraine. In addition, I installed good road maps and use the navigator not only on my bicycle but also in my car. GPS positioning works quickly and accurately. It can calculate the distance traveled, determine speed, and build profiles of descents and ascents. Besides this, using built-in Bluetooth, it connects to my Android smartphone, on which the Garmin Connect app is installed, and transmits the collected information directly to it. With this app, you can share your location in real-time with subscribers, one of whom is my wife, yes)) And after the trip, it's interesting to see your route on the map. With the smartphone, you can also organize a reverse transfer of weather information back to the navigator. The screen is quite small but adapted for use with gloves. The GPS receiver is highly sensitive, leaving cheap Chinese no-names far behind in terms of location accuracy. It works fast, with a cold start taking only 30-35 seconds. The battery is lithium-ion, and its capacity is enough for any one-day trip, i.e., not less than 12-14 hours.
Small screen resolution, which is only 160x240 pixels. However, with a physical 2.6-inch screen size, it looks good. But against the background of the same modern smartphones ... Well, you understand me))
