We did a designer renovation in the kitchen and bought new furniture in the "vintage" style. Some appliances are now built-in, but some small items like the microwave are standing separately. These "small items" caused some problems. Modern home appliances are generally straight lines, contrasting colors with the widespread use of metallics and a "high-tech" style design. Such designs do not match at all with vintage furniture and the kitchen's interior. This Gorenje model from the Classico series saved the day. The design perfectly suits our retro renovation and furniture. The "antique style" handles and the decorative lines on the door almost exactly replicate other decor elements in the room. Initially, the absence of a turntable was concerning, but the distribution of microwave radiation using a special diffuser called Stirrer technology works quite well. At least, I haven't noticed any problems with the evenness of heating. Still, a turntable would be useful when using the grill. However, without this element, the oven is significantly easier to wipe and clean. The bottom of the working chamber is ceramic, resistant to scratches, and pleasant to the touch. Selecting power and duration of operation is easy and simple with the two stylized selector knobs. The time can be set from 30 seconds to 30 minutes, and the power has a five-step adjustment. The absence of a turntable does not affect the uniformity of heating by microwave radiation, but there is unevenness when the grill is working. |
