In this price category, there are simply no worthy competitors at all. It's more of a competitor to speakers in the 40-50k price range, so if you suddenly want something like Monitor Audio Bronze, KEF Q300, etc., listen to these speakers first - you'll be surprised. One of the few bookshelf speakers with a front-facing bass reflex port, unlike the vast majority that have it at the back, making it ideal for placing on any shelf close to the wall. The bass... the presence of such bass is very surprising, stated at 57, and unlike more flashy brands that claim lower numbers, this acoustic system can be used without a subwoofer. For this price, nothing. If there are smartasses who love to discuss mega-detailing and depth of scene transmission (as if you're not at home, but in the Grand Hall of the conservatory), then this acoustics start from 200k.
