Powerful steam cleaner manufactured by the famous German company Karcher. The model belongs to household models of the middle level, it has a well-thought-out design and a number of pleasant functions. The device consumes 2000 W, while the steam pressure reaches 3.5 bar, which is typical for high-quality household models. At the same time, the steam power can be easily adjusted depending on the situation.
To protect against a critical increase in pressure inside the steam cleaner tank, the manufacturer provides a safety valve that automatically releases accumulated steam and prevents it from reaching a critical point. A special lock on the handle serves as protection against child intervention. The Karcher SC 4 EasyFix Premium steam cleaner also boasts numerous nozzles: a pinpoint nozzle for removing dirt in a small area, an EasyFix brush nozzle for cleaning the floor, a fabric nozzle for delicate and easily damaged surfaces, a textile nozzle that removes stains on clothes, tablecloths, bedspread, as well as a corner brush for hard-to-reach places and a round brush that cleans not only with steam, but also with mechanical action. The volume of the water tank is only 0.5 L, however, an additional 0.8 L tank is provided, adding water to the main one as it is used. This design allows you to quickly — in 4 minutes — heat the water, so that the cleaning time is reduced. Another plus is the auto-shutoff system in case of overheating equipment.

I bought a steam generator twice and both times the equipment served for 3 years and failed! No when buying a steam generator from this manufacturer, I thought that it was a reliable technique. I haven’t seen worse, 3 years of service and throw it away. Rusted tank !!!!

I would like to add to my previous review. For half a day I tried to use it for cleaning, at the same time convincing myself that money was not wasted. So: 1. bathroom - no changes. True, he nevertheless wiped off a light coating from the tile with a nozzle (a small brush with a cloth on top). 2. Floors: OK, even not bad, but there should be an ordinary mop nearby, which should then be washed with streams of hot water from the floor. From the point of view of "wiping off what has not been wiped off before" - everything is ok, but you need to be thoughtful and careful with the laminate.3. Cuisine: everything is very ambiguous here. Any hard-to-reach places can be blown out with steam. The fat on the tile above the hob seems to be washed off, but in fact it turned out that it simply dissolves well with temperature and the nozzle simply smears it with a thin layer. Visually clean, but in some places the surface is sticky - it is necessary to wipe it with chemistry. 4. The hob is the same. Steam softens everything well, but it is impossible to clean it without chemistry. I bought a steam cleaner to disinfect bedroom furniture and floors (on the Karcher website it is stated that it kills 99.9% of household germs). I've only tested it in the bathroom so far. It will be useless for disinfection, I will explain why below. What is the conclusion: a device with a VERY narrow range of applications. In the bathroom (repair 2.5 years) this thing managed to knock out a thick limescale on the lower part of the mixer at the back of the tap, where you usually don’t get it. It does not soften soap deposits from the sink and acrylic bath at all. The same applies to thin limescale on the surface of taps - what is rubbed off with an ordinary wet washcloth is also rubbed off with this thing. It turned out to be generally interesting with tiles: it also does not remove limescale, but it washed out a little grout from the seams. If you clean the toilet bowl, then the smell with steam goes be healthy, I doubt it about disinfection, because. the steam does not have time to warm the surface, it just condenses. Now the most interesting thing: I tried to stick my hand into the jet of steam: at a distance of about 20-25 cm, you can feel just hot steam, closer it is already hot. But, when compared with the steam from the kettle at the same distance, it is clearly colder. I called the Karcher representative office today, they answered that the steam was 70-80 degrees and the device was not intended for disinfection, because. they can't test if it kills germs. It's pointless to try to clean the same sofa if only the topmost layer of fabric warms up. As a result, an almost useless thing, because. without washing up all the same nothing is washed off. Can be refilled without stopping operation, relatively quiet operation, high quality construction, really high pressure low steam temperature, not suitable for disinfection, although this is stated on the manufacturer's website.
