The key feature of this model is its ultra-compact dimensions and low weight, as well as the convenience of everyday use that goes with it. Karcher VC 5 Premium is designed for dry cleaning of residential premises and, despite its small size, is equipped with an expanded set of nozzles, including a combination, crevice, dust and special nozzle for upholstered furniture. However, the device fits in a closet with all the brushes without problems and takes up much less space than any classic vacuum cleaner with a hose.
The model has a long power cord (9 m), which allows you to clean a fairly large room without having to move to a new place to connect to the network. Main brush with swivel and flexible hose, so the movement is easy to control. The flask of the dust collector of the “cyclone” system is not very large, but emptying its contents is a matter of a few seconds. HEPA fine filters are removable and easy to clean.

There was a need to purchase a compact vacuum cleaner, as I live in a one-room apartment. You understand that every square meter must be used wisely. I settled on this vacuum cleaner, as it met all the requirements: compactness, power, quality, price. During the operation, there were several nuances that I will describe in the shortcomings. But overall it's a great vacuum cleaner. 1. Incredibly compact;
2. Easy to operate; 3. Powerful, pulls well 4. Long 9-meter cord; 5. Quiet; 6. Excellent filtration system. A rather small dust collector, I think for a 3-room apartment I will have to clean it for each room once or twice. The apartment where my wife and I moved after the wedding belonged to her parents. Previously, they rented it out, but now we drove there. The apartment is small, one-room and the house is also not the first freshness, but it is SEPARATE and, as I later understood well, this was the most important thing. Repairs were made on their own, almost all the furniture was changed, and one of the main problems of the new living space, as expected, was the lack of free space. This is probably why I liked this vacuum cleaner so much at first sight, because when folded it stands vertically and takes up almost no space. We have been using it for about six months and from the technical side there are no complaints at all. Despite its small size, it does an excellent job of cleaning laminate and carpet. The universal floor-to-carpet nozzle works equally well in both cases. The brush is surprisingly manoeuvrable and easily penetrates under furniture. The air filtration system here is already three-stage. First, it passes through a cyclone filter, in which almost all contaminants are retained, and the remaining smallest dust is caught either by the cartridge filter or the final one, which drains before exhaust. Branded ultra-high-quality filters catch even the smallest particles. The vacuum cleaner has a convenient and long nine-meter electric cable, which is wound on special "horns" on the body for storage. Assembled in Italy and this is noticeable, because it is difficult to find fault with the quality of parts or their fit with all desire. The cyclone filter is, of course, good, but the cartridge and fine final filters also need to be changed. The first of them costs about 300 hryvnia, and the second is something around 250. Expensive, however. |

The representative of the VC 5 line of the German manufacturer Karcher refers to portable vacuum cleaners equipped with an extendable telescopic tube with three fixation levels. The desired height is adjustable on the handle itself, which simplifies the transition from cleaning floors to cleaning furniture or hard-to-reach places.
Effective work
Karcher VC 5 Premium received a 0.5-liter cyclone-type dust collector. It is easy to clean and eliminates the need to purchase replacement bags. The power of the vacuum cleaner is 500 W, which is considered a solid indicator for this class of devices.
The 4-position regulator located next to the handle allows you to change the suction power without being distracted from cleaning. For delicate cleaning, the first two stages are recommended, for daily dusting — the third, and for working with carpets — the fourth. The model handles with its main tasks confidently.
The maximum noise level in operation does not exceed 77 dB, which is a pretty good indicator for upright vacuum cleaners.
Abundance of nozzles included
Unlike the related model Karcher VC 5, the vacuum cleaner has an extended package. In addition to the combined brush for cleaning smooth and carpeted surfaces, users are offered 3 more accessories: dust and crevice nozzles, as well as a nozzle for upholstered furniture.
Convenient operation and storage
Thanks to its compact size and weight of 3.2 kg, the Karcher VC 5 Premium is easy to store. This is facilitated by a magnetic lock on the brush, which stabilizes the body in a vertical position.
The vacuum cleaner works only from the mains, which makes it not as convenient as compared to battery-powered counterparts. At the same time, the length of the mains cable is 9 metres, which guarantees a large cleaning radius without switching between outlets. But the lack of automatic cord winding and the need to manually fix it on the case is a drawback of the model.
Karcher VC 5 Premium is one of the exemplary devices in its price category, capable of imposing competition on both classic vacuum cleaners and cordless models.
