Premium friction model from one of the mastodons of the tyre industry — the French company Michelin. The debut of the tyre took place on the eve of the winter season 2020-2021. Michelin X-Ice Snow 205/60 R16 96H blocks use different types of sipes: slots of variable thickness drain the contact patch, while U-shaped sipes are focused on increasing tread stiffness, improving handling and manoeuvrability. Also, the work of the Flex-Ice 2.0 rubber compound with special microcavities, which have an adsorption effect and effectively absorb moisture, is aimed at drying the contact spot. On a slippery road (thin ice or ice), braking and acceleration are difficult. Rating 3 points out of 5. When braking on ice, the abs work immediately, the car moves forward. When you even smoothly give the gas, the sensor immediately flashes and there is a skid.
In the snow, dry and wet, I rate 4 out of 5 points - normal but nothing special, for some reason many people overtake me at the start of the traffic light in simpler cars, and when I add gas, the grip disappears, the wheels spin. Brakes in snow well, but not better than others.

Frictional Hakkapelita EP2 and Bridgestone VRH were better on ice and ice.
