An old-timer model in the wood-encased two-way stereo market. The cases of its satellites are made of MDF boards with a thickness of approximately 12 mm. The side walls are finished in light wood, the removable grill is covered with a light grey fabric that covers the four-inch woofer and Mylar tweeter. Each of the speakers in the set delivers 10 watts, which ensures a low level of non-linear distortion at maximum volume and reduces the likelihood of overloads.
The phase inverter at the top of the back panel of the satellites is tuned to approximately 55 Hz. The Microlab B-73's controls are located on the back of the speaker cabinet and are represented by rotary playback volume controls along with a bass adjustment knob. But the model does not provide high-frequency settings. Two pairs of RCA "tulips" are used for connection. The dimensions of each of the satellites of the system are 161x245x202 mm, their total weight is 7 kg.

Microlab B-73 is a disappointment. If you don't have money for a decent audio system, it's better to wait, save up, and buy even an Edifier for $120-150. I have a cheap, small, and old 10W subwoofer and 3W speakers that I bought 15 years ago – the bass sound and overall quality are much cleaner and more pleasant to listen to... They look stylish and are well-assembled, the materials of the speakers are good. Not as cheap as REAL-EL products with a crooked protective mesh and the REAL-EL logo on a bent wire, shame... )))) Disappointed with the barrel sound, the bass is terrible, muffled, and it's like the speakers are placed in a bucket. The price is significantly overpriced for such sound quality. ![]() |
