The manufacturer overdid it in pursuit of weight savings - the plastic in the grip areas is too thin, bends, and makes sounds. It is really lightweight; they could have added about ten grams for sturdiness. The battery life is satisfactory, lasts a week, 60-70 hours for shooter games. Charging is fast. In this generation, the manufacturer used good materials in the grip areas, the mouse feels perfect, but you need to control the strength of your grip (it's important to understand if you squeeze the mouse hard in dynamic situations and have strong wrists). The Razer DeathAdder V2 Pro is a little surprising at just 88 grams. And it also has a battery in it! Nevertheless, thanks to the well-thought-out shape, it fits comfortably in the palm of your hand, does not slip in your hands (thanks to the rubberized sides and soft touch plastic), and gives a feeling of good control on the mat. However, what are the questions? The original DeathAdder is already a hundred years old at lunchtime (15 to be exact) and its success clearly suggests that it is better not to touch the good form. Therefore, the updated DeathAdder V2 Pro is still a very comfortable mouse with ergonomics brought to mind.
A sensor built for precise headshots
Well, now let's move on to what we are here for. Undoubtedly, the main advantage of the DeathAdder V2 Pro is the Razer Focus + sensor, which is excellent in its capabilities, with a resolution of 20,000 DPI. It is clear that so far this is a surplus even for 4K monitors, but there is already a reserve for the future for 8K displays. In games, he behaves like a solid five, with speed and accuracy reminiscent of the best examples from PixArt and Razer itself. In comparison to this, it is especially pleasing that during the tests of DeathAdder V2 Pro we did not find any specific jambs. If the nerves give out and you press hard on the body, it creaks in some places. Well, the price is high, but this is Razer, they don’t have it any other way. Moreover, there is always the opportunity to find the original DeathAdder on the cheap.
