I personally convinced myself that a modern multicooker is a useful kitchen appliance. Mom bought such a thing five years ago, when I was still at university and was happy with it. It happened that I also used it. This is probably why, when, after graduating from high school, I found a good job and rented a one-room apartment, one of the first purchases I made was a slow cooker. However, it seemed to me that a simple model was not enough and I purchased a multicooker-pressure cooker. In theory, this not only automates the cooking process, but also speeds it up. And it is also a fairly mobile device, which, in case of moving to another apartment, is easy to take with you. I would say that this is a three-in-one device, namely a multi-cooker-steamer-pressure cooker. In addition, you can buy an additional set of accessories, which includes a mesh basket for frying in oil, and then it will also be a deep fryer. But I'm not fond of french fries, the fight against excess weight is difficult. As a multicooker, it suits me perfectly and works 100%, as a double boiler it also did not disappoint, but with pressure cooking it somehow turns out poorly. The bowl in it is standard in volume, five-liter, but the non-stick coating is improved, ceramic. It is more durable than soft and easily scratched Teflon, and in terms of non-stick, it is in no way inferior to it. In my understanding, a pressure cooker should provide some certain excess pressure, due to which the boiling point of water rises, which means that the cooking of food is accelerated. But neither on the beautiful case of the multicooker, nor in the instructions at all, nothing is said about pressure. Yes, there is a valve, but something I doubt that it gives really noticeable excess pressure. Judging by how the peas that were not soaked before are boiled, the temperature there also differs little from the usual one. |
