24mm wide-angle prime lens for Canon, Nikon and Sigma full-frame DSLRs. It belongs to the top line of Art optics, which is notable for its high optical properties. The optical scheme of the model is formed by 15 elements in 11 groups. Among them, there are aspherical lenses, as well as elements with extra-low dispersion, which can effectively reduce chromatic aberration and distortion.
The Sigma 24mm F1.4 DG HSM A has 9 aperture blades, thanks to which the lens draws beautiful round bokeh. The ultrasonic drive of the autofocus system was put on the onboard armament of the model. In general, the lens quickly focuses from a distance of 25 cm. Other nice "chips" of the model are compatibility with the Sigma USB docking station and a horde of filters in the size of 77 mm. The fixed lens makes the body of the camera heavier by about 665 g; it protrudes 90 mm forward from the camera body. The model will serve as a suitable acquisition for landscape, architectural and everyday shootings.

It is very attractive with its viewing angles, working open aperture, pattern and depth of field. On crop it can pass for a standard lens. I tried it on the D7000, at sunset - the picture is very flexible and bright without hares or glare. But focusing is not for everyone, not my thing.... just a fairy tale... bright, fast, vivid. All parts are perfectly fitted with a pleasant finish, nothing wobbles or rattles. The ONLY disappointing thing is that after reading in the so-called "description": "Sensor size: APS-C;" many will postpone the purchase or not buy this good lens, which is certainly full-frame. I took it for Nikon D800. The video shows a kind of moire and a slight lack of detailing in the highlights, which was not noticeable on Nikon 50/1.4, Samyang 16mm and Nikon 35-70/2.8D.
