High-class zoom lens of universal purpose, optimized for photo and video shooting. A unique feature of the model is the constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 throughout the zoom range from 28 to 105 mm. The lens is available in versions for mirrorless bayonet mounts Sony E and Leica SL (Panasonic / Leica / Sigma). The optical design of the Sigma 28-105mm f/2.8 DG DN Art consists of 18 elements in 13 groups, including two FLD extra-low dispersion lenses, one special SLD extra-low dispersion element, and 5 aspherical glasses.
The lens focuses sharply from a distance of 40 cm. Smooth, fast, and silent autofocus is achieved with the help of an HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) drive. The model features a 12-blade diaphragm for impressive background blur, and filters with a diameter of 82 mm can be installed on the front frame of the lens. When changing the focal length, the front lens block of the zoom extends up to 38 mm. Its standard length is 160 mm. The weight of the lens is almost 1 kg.
