First of all, I want to recommend this lens to those who have just purchased a camera body and have not yet figured it out properly, but want to shoot everything and everywhere.

Why do I say this, it's simple - it forgives many mistakes, has precise and quiet autofocus, good sharpness across the entire field of the frame in all focal ranges at an open aperture.

Next, I'll note the weight - it's very light because it's plastic. But the plastic here is of very high quality and non-slippery. There is a manual focus ring, it is electronic and thus works with a lag, though you are unlikely to use manual focus (unless you love shooting video).

Another pleasant bonus is the presence of optical stabilization, so if your camera body has matrix stabilization, they work together to compensate for several stops, thus mitigating weak light-gathering ability in low light conditions. This also plays a very significant role when shooting video.

Light filters with a diameter of 55 mm are not too expensive, and we add this parameter to the advantages as well.

The wide angle produces beautiful landscapes without a loss in detail, with minimal distortions (which can be fixed in Lightroom), making it possible to shoot architecture.

At the telephoto end, you'll get sharp portraits, but I wouldn't recommend photographing girls - too many details on the facial skin, too high sharpness. However, male portraits will come out great. I would also recommend shooting cars with it, nice range of focal lengths and no need to carry a bunch of lenses around.
