Price.
Big weight, small number of revolutions.

The Yato YT-82070 screwdriver is heavy (1.6 kg) and rather slow. The idle speed is only 1600 rpm, and under load it drops by half. But even this value is quite enough for normal work on plasterboard walls and ceilings, if you do not plan to set performance records. However, speed records do not shine for you, because there is no magazine nozzle for this model of the tool, and in any case, screws must be fed into the cartridge manually.

Yato tools are made in Poland for the European market. Therefore, it compares favorably with Chinese products, and this is noticeable in the details: the gearbox housing is aluminium, the cable sheath is made of durable rubber, there is dust protection for the switch mechanism. That is, it is a solid screwdriver of the European level. The manufacturer gives a decent three-year warranty. The kit includes bits and spare carbon brushes. What more can you ask for from a cheap tool?

The Yato YT-82070 screwdriver is a good household class tool. With its help, you can sheathe walls with drywall, assemble frames from aluminium profiles, clad facades with vinyl siding and perform other finishing, facade and roofing works that use self-tapping screws with a diameter of up to 6 mm.

In the price segment under $75, there are not many good corded screwdrivers for finishing work. As an alternative to Yato, only Stanley STDR5206 but it's only for drywall and won't work with denser materials.

High torque (for this type of screwdriver), backlight, depth setting with an accuracy of 0.2 mm, there is a compatible magazine nozzle.
Big weight.

Makita FS2300 does not shine with speed, but it has a large torque (25 Nm - this is quite a lot for drywall screwdrivers). Such characteristics are not accidental, because this tool is designed for the installation of drywall sheets, as well as denser finishing and building materials, including plywood and chipboard. There is enough power to screw them not only to wooden slats and aluminium profiles, but also to metal frames. The screwdriver easily turns self-tapping screws with a diameter of up to 6 mm and a length of up to 70 mm.

This model is intended for professional builders. Therefore, the approach to the design of the tool is appropriate. For example, the gearbox housing is aluminium, and the gears inside it are made of heat-strengthened steel. The removal of warm air from the engine is organized in such a way that the air flow does not scatter dust. The body and handles are rubberized wherever the hand touches them. Cord of sufficient length (4 m), durable and flexible. There is LED lighting. The fastener screwing depth can be adjusted very precisely (up to 0.2 mm). To the screwdriver, you can separately buy a Makita 199146-8 store nozzle for feeding screws in the tape.

Only a large weight (1.6 kg) can cause complaints. In fact, it is only relatively large, because many models of hand-held power tools are much heavier. But, given the specifics of the work of a master finisher, who holds a screwdriver in outstretched arms or over his head all day long, the extra 200-300 grams, compared to other corded screwdrivers, will seem like a solid load at the end of the work shift.

The Makita FS2300 screwdriver is such a good average. It is reliable and time-tested, and its price is not “biting” at all (for professional builders and finishers), so the tool will quickly pay for itself in capable hands. But if its weight bothers you, then there are lighter models: for example, Makita FS4000 Price from 4 740 up to 7 027 ₴ and Makita FS6300 . They are less versatile, because due to the lower torque they will not cope with screwing plywood and chipboard. But for working with drywall, these screwdrivers are perfect.

Light weight, long cable, low noise coupling, 0.25mm depth setting, compatible magazine attachment available.
Inconvenient reverse switch.

Screwdriver Metabo SE 2500 is designed to work with "delicate" sheet materials used in construction and decoration. With it, it is especially convenient to fasten drywall sheets, gypsum boards and thin plywood already tacked to a metal frame or wooden crate.

The tool was initially “sharpened” for one-handed work. It is very light (only 1.2 kg is two hundred grams lighter than average) and quite compact. The wide start key can be pressed with any finger. The shape of the case is made in such a way that the device lies comfortably in the hand both in a horizontal position and in a vertical one. Therefore, with a Metabo screwdriver, you can work a whole shift at a construction site without much stress and, having stuffed your hand, spend less than a second on each screw. You can even increase the speed of work if you use the SM 5-55 magazine nozzle (it costs under $100).

The professional approach is felt in other details. For example, the power cable is very long (5 m), its sheath is made of high quality elastic rubber. The cam clutch works very clearly and almost silently. The depth stop is adjustable with an accuracy of 0.25 mm, and the limiting nozzle, if necessary, can be removed in one motion. But the reverse switch is located inconveniently and moves too easily, but this is the only remark on ergonomics that can be put on the mind of the manufacturer.

This model is perfect for professional builders and finishers who work with self-tapping screws up to 5 mm in diameter. Among other Metabo screwdrivers, it is the best suited for working with drywall, fiberboard and other sheet materials. But if you deal exclusively with drywall, then it makes sense to look away Metabo SE 4000 620045000 Price from 8 302 ₴ and Metabo SE 6000 620046000 Price from 7 595 up to 8 300 ₴ (they are faster, but slightly less powerful due to other gear ratios in the gearbox).

Case, accessories included.
Price, no belt clip.

Screwdriver DeWALT DW263K is designed to quickly perform large volumes of the same type of work related to screwing sheet materials for various purposes: finishing, facade and roofing. Thanks to a good (as for this class of devices) torque of 15 Nm, it can quickly screw self-tapping screws not only into thin aluminium profiles, but also into a wooden frame made of dense wood.

Ergonomics of the tool is good, but not without remarks. On the one hand, it has a comfortable rubberized handle and a wide start button, thanks to which you can tighten the screws in any position with the proper level of comfort for the user. But there is no such banal and penny detail as a hook for hanging on a belt. Well, where do you order to put a screwdriver when both hands are busy?

The manufacturer carefully packed the accessories necessary to get started right away in a case with a screwdriver: an adjustable limiter, a magnetic bit holder and a couple of adapters. And to use the tool as a wrench, just buy a set of socket heads with hex shank. But there is no magazine nozzle that would allow using self-tapping screws on the tape and working much faster for DeWALT corded screwdrivers.

The screwdriver is expensive, but it is not intended for amateurs and home craftsmen. This model is designed for professional use. It will "pull" all types of self-tapping screws, the diameter of which does not exceed 6 mm, including roofing fasteners with drill tips. But if you don't plan on using the tool for anything other than drywall at all, then better get DeWALT DW274K Price from 10 177 up to 10 752 ₴ (it has one and a half times less torque, but the same speed is higher).

Silent clutch, 0.25mm depth setting, compatible magazine attachment available, case.
The price is not suitable for a low-quality profile.

Screwdriver Bosch GSR 6-45 is designed for those who want to perform large volumes of finishing work in a short time. It allows you to work at the highest possible pace. And if you buy a Bosch MA 55 store nozzle and stock up on self-tapping screws on tapes, then you can tighten 50 screws in one sitting without stops and pauses (although such an accessory is not cheap - about $ 175).

But speed also has a downside. If the profile is not of very high quality (for example, the manufacturer saved on metal and made it too thin), then the screw, rotating at a speed of 4500 rpm, will turn a large hole in it, and the limiter clutch will not work. Therefore, Bosch GSR 6-45 is not suitable for working with low-quality profiles.

The tool inside and out is as solid as other products from the Bosch brand. It has an ergonomic body with rubberized inserts, effective engine cooling and good protection of the "insides" from dust. The almost silent and very well-functioning clutch allows you to drive the screws into the drywall with precision. The screw driving depth is adjustable in 0.25 mm increments. The tool comes with a bit, magnetic holder, depth gauge and belt clip. All this is packed in a branded plastic case.

The Bosch GSR 6-45 screwdriver can drive self-tapping screws up to 6 mm in diameter into drywall, gypsum boards, wood panels and chipboard. With such characteristics, he occupies a position exactly in the middle between his brothers in the lineup: screwdrivers Bosch GSR 6-25 TE Professional 0601445000 Price from 7 599 up to 8 856 ₴ and Bosch GSR 6-60 TE Professional 0601445200 Price from 5 560 ₴. Which one to choose is up to you. They differ from each other only in the speed of rotation of the cartridge and torque.

Bosch professional models are traditionally expensive, and screwdrivers are no exception. Someone calls it an overpayment for the brand, while others consider their price to be a well-founded cost of a high-quality, reliable and durable tool.
