A well-balanced model from a well-known Japanese manufacturer will delight you with excellent ergonomics, comfortable weight (1.4 kg) and durability.
The FS4300 comes in the traditional Makit blue and black design with a shock-resistant rubberized plastic body and a comfortable handle with a slot for a spare bit and a cartridge holder.
Functional
The screwdriver is powerful enough (570 W) to cope with screwing screws into soft woods, drywall, chipboard and thin metal (you will need metal screws).
During operation, it heats up weakly, thanks to the well-thought-out arrangement of ventilation holes on the case, and does not inflate dust.
It is not recommended to use the model for working with plywood. Here you need a more powerful tool. FS4300 is designed for self-tapping screws with a diameter of up to 6mm and a length of up to 70mm.
The reverse function will help you easily unscrew the screw, and the depth gauge will set the required penetration distance into the surface in 0.2 mm increments. Also under the cartridge there is a diode backlight to illuminate the working area.
Performance
The model has a rotation speed of the cartridge up to 4000 rpm, with the possibility of its electronic limitation, depending on the force of pulling the trigger. With a certain skill of the master, this property allows you to master large volumes of work in relatively short periods of time.
The tool is equipped with a metal clip for attaching to a belt, and it would be convenient to wear it if the cord were not so short — only 2.5 m against the normal 4, such as, for example, the more powerful FS2300.
We add the lack of a case to the shortcomings, which is usually not typical for a complete set of Makita tools.
Otherwise, the FS4300 model is a solid "middle peasant" with good power for a very reasonable price.
