Price, metal case, large AMOLED display.
Protruding button, NFC only works in China.

The Chinese brand Haylou is a partner of Xiaomi and seems to have inherited one of its main principles from it - to offer quality gadgets at reasonable prices. There is no markup for marketing and the promoted name of the manufacturer, so you get a good value for money. The RS4 is a prime example of this. This is a comfortable smartwatch that frankly copies the design of the Apple Watch, but this is not a cheap Chinese clone with an assembly “on the knee”. The gadget weighs less than 50 g, is practically not felt on the wrist, has a metal case and IP68 water resistance, and the last two points are not often found in low-cost products. Although not everything is so smooth with water protection: you can wash your hands, walk in the rain and actively train with a watch on your hand, but you should not swim in them, swim and take a shower.

The device looks neat on both female and male hands. Despite the fact that a large 1.78-inch screen is installed here, the smartwatch does not look too bulky. By the way, the display is another thing to praise Haylou for. This is a fairly bright AMOLED with a resolution of 448x368 pixels, the text and images on which are easily visible both indoors and in the sun. Perhaps, only the side button slightly spoils the impression of the appearance, which sticks out too much and strives to catch on clothes.

The main features are the same as most modern wearable devices: support for 12 sports modes, the ability to measure heart rate and blood oxygen levels, control activity, monitor the duration and quality of sleep, and display incoming calls, messages and notifications when connected to a smartphone. There is no microphone and speaker here, so the maximum that you can do is to reject the call and view the message. From NFC, unfortunately, there is no use for us, since contactless payments only work in China.

And while the Apple Watch needs to be recharged every few days, its Chinese counterpart provides up to 10 days of battery life with normal use. If you are a more active user, one charge will last about a week, and in power-saving mode, the watch will last about 25 days.

Price, 5ATM water resistance, Always-on-Display function, built-in GPS, women's calendar, good autonomy.
Not detected.

At one time, the Xiaomi Poco sub-brand loudly broke into the smartphone market with its devices, which offered almost flagship features at an inexpensive price. Now Poco has decided to conquer the smartwatch market with its debut Poco Watch. The first pancake did not exactly become a lump, but you should not expect anything supernatural from the watch either.

Like most low-cost gadgets, the smartwatch has a plastic case, a comfortable silicone strap, and a decent-sized internal frame around the display, although the rounded glass is trying to give the appearance of a bezel-less design. In general, the device is very light (only 31 g with a strap), comfortable and suitable for both male and female wrists. The full 5ATM water resistance deserves special attention, which allows you to swim and dive to a shallow depth. However, before diving, hot showers and saunas, it is better to remove the watch.

Also pleased with the bright and colorful 1.6 -inch AMOLED display, and even with the ability to activate the always-on display (Always-on-Display) - this feature is not often found in inexpensive models. The screen duplicates incoming calls to the smartphone, messages and notifications from social networks, but, alas, you cannot answer them. In addition, the watch allows you to remotely control music playback and the phone's camera.

In matters of monitoring activities and health, the functionality will be more than enough for most users. The smartwatch supports more than 100 sports modes, monitors heart rate around the clock and sends a notification if the heart rate is above normal, measures blood oxygen levels, records deep, light and REM sleep phases, determines stress levels and helps keep track of the women's calendar. But the most important thing is that the device has its own built-in GPS for more accurate location determination - again, not all state employees can boast of this.

There are no complaints about autonomy either: the manufacturer claims that a single charge of a 225 mAh battery lasts up to 14 days of operation, although in reality, with fairly active use and periodic inclusion of GPS, the battery is discharged in about a week. Convenient magnetic charger included.

Design, built-in GPS, display with Always-On-Display function, autonomy up to 15 days, more than 120 sports modes, 5ATM water resistance, Amazon Alexa voice assistant, women's calendar.
There is no speaker for calls, like the Amazfit GTS 4.

The smartwatch has become a Mini version of the Amazfit GTS 4, with somewhat simplified specifications and a lower price tag. First of all, they are much more compact due to the reduced screen size, so the female half will definitely like it, although they are a unisex model. Also, there is no speaker with which to make calls, dual-channel GPS and some useful add-ons for extreme sports and tourists like altimeter and barometer. Otherwise, Amazfit GTS 4 Mini is in no way inferior to the older version.

Amazfit knows a lot about beautiful gadgets that look expensive and solid with any outfit, be it a sports or business suit. Despite the fact that the device uses the most common and inexpensive materials (plastic body and silicone strap), it looks stylish: ultra-thin body (9.1 mm without heart rate sensor base), rounded protective glass over the screen, smooth lines, aluminium frame and the weight of everything 31g (19g without strap), which makes the device almost weightless on the wrist.

The manufacturer used a 1.65-inch AMOLED display with rich colors. The Always-On-Display feature is a big plus, but keep in mind that enabling it affects battery life. The screen duplicates incoming calls and messages, but, as mentioned above, there is no way to answer them. Removing the speaker, the manufacturer left a microphone with which you can give tasks to the voice assistant. The model only supports Amazon Alexa.

Although Amazfit GTS 4 Mini is not aimed at professional athletes, they can easily cope with most tasks. The built-in GPS supports 5 satellite systems and will help you find your location faster and more accurately. The list of sports modes includes many different activities - there are more than 120 in total. These are walking, running, yoga, an exercise bike, dancing and much more - we don’t have enough space to list them all. Water resistance class 5 ATM allows you to swim and dive without removing the watch from your hand. And one battery charge is enough even for a hike: it has a decent capacity of 270 mAh and provides up to 15 days of battery life with normal use. Of course, it all depends on many factors: for example, more active users can count on 8 days of intensive use, always-on GPS reduces this time to 21 hours, and in power-saving mode, autonomy is about 45 days.

There are also many interesting features for health control. Pulse, blood oxygen levels and stress can be monitored on-demand or around the clock. The watch monitors the duration and quality of sleep, calculates the number of steps taken, the distance and calories spent on it, and will also help the owner control her female cycle. Not without the proprietary PAI health assessment system, which converts activity into points and motivates you to move more and more often.

In general, Amazfit has turned out to be a decent smartwatch model for those who are looking for a stylish device and do not want to overpay for features they do not need.

Speaker and microphone for calls, quick responses to messages, 32 GB of memory for stored music, large display with Always-On-Display, 5 ATM water resistance, women's calendar.
The Active version does not have NFC.

Smartwatches have replaced the Huawei Watch Fit and have received several useful changes that users will like. Firstly, they run a proprietary operating system HarmonyOS, which provides smooth animation and interface operation. Secondly, the amount of internal memory has been increased to 32 GB, thanks to which, using a smartphone, you can download your favorite music and listen to it during training through wireless headphones or a speaker (definitely, the first option is better). Thirdly, thanks to the presence of a microphone and speaker, the gadget allows you to answer incoming calls via Bluetooth 5.2 without taking your phone out of your pocket. Of course, the device also displays messages and notifications, and quick answers are available - some template answers to many common questions.

A quickly dead battery will also not let you down at the wrong time, since a single charge of a 292 mAh battery lasts from 7 to 10 days of battery life, depending on the activity of use. It takes a couple of hours to fully charge, but if there is no time, just 5 minutes with the charger will provide a whole day of work.

The watch received a large AMOLED display with a diagonal of 1.74 inches and a rectangular shape, which does not make the model too bulky and bulky. There is a large selection of different watch faces, including those with the Always-On-Display function. For active users, there is support for almost 100 sports modes, animated exercises, voice prompts for warming up, 5 ATM water resistance that allows swimming at not too deep depths, and a GPS module. As for health, smartwatches can monitor activity, measure heart rate, blood oxygen levels, determine stress levels, monitor sleep and a woman's calendar - in general, the model has all the main functions that modern wearable devices have.

Please note that Huawei offers a choice of three versions: Active, Classic and Elegant, which differ in strap materials and, accordingly, in cost. But the Active version, unfortunately, does not have NFC for contactless payments, so if this feature is important to you, it’s better to fork out for Classic or Elegant. But the manufacturer has added a very convenient mechanism for changing straps, so if you wish, you can create your own collection of accessories and change them depending on the style of clothing and the situation (training, business meeting, walking with friends, etc.)

Sports specific features, NFC, ANT+, 5 ATM water resistance, women's cycle and pregnancy tracking.
Price.

Garmin positions the model as a multisport watch for active users. This means you get a full set of activity tracking features and branded features that will help you improve your performance and achieve higher results. These include the Fitness Age feature that estimates body condition based on real age, fat content, heart rate and training, water consumption tracking with reminders, a virtual running coach, Body Battery to know when your body is charged. and ready to get active or exhausted and in need of a break, and over 1,600 exercises to create your own workouts on the Garmin Connect app.

In addition, the gadget received such basic features as support for 25 sports modes, measuring heart rate, blood oxygen levels and stress, monitoring and evaluating sleep, counting steps taken and calories burned, as well as tracking the female cycle and pregnancy with recommendations on physical exercises and nutrition. Of course, there is a built-in GPS that accurately determines your location and distance.

The model belongs to the Venu series, where the appearance is successfully combined with functionality. This is not a rough, massive watch like representatives of the Fenix, Forerunner or Instinct lines, but a neat device of low weight (38 g) with a plastic case and a classic silicone strap. The touch AMOLED display has a diagonal of 1.41 inches and a resolution of 360x320 pixels, there are two control buttons on the side, and 5 ATM protection allows you to run in the rain, swim and keep the watch in the shower without worrying that the water will somehow harm them.

It happens that in pursuit of a certain feature, manufacturers forget about more “mundane” things that make everyday use convenient and comfortable. But this is not about the Garmin Venu Sq 2: they received ANT + wireless data transfer technology, NFC for contactless payments Garmin Pay and autonomy up to 11 days with normal use. Please note that this indicator depends on many factors - for example, always-on GPS reduces this time to 26 hours. Perhaps, the ability to answer calls is not enough - the device only displays incoming calls, messages and notifications.

In addition, Garmin has released a version of the Venu Sq 2 Music Edition with Wi-Fi and a built-in player. It costs more, although the regular Garmin Venu Sq 2 is definitely not cheap.
