A compact mirrorless camera from the guard of cropped cameras with interchangeable lenses of an amateur design. The camera "came out" at the dawn of 2018 and became Canon's first swallow in the mirrorless league, which was "brought up" with 4K video resolution. However when recording ultra-high resolution videos, the operator will have to be content with a 1.6x crop image and Dual Pixel CMOS AF autofocus that does not work.

When focus, the Canon EOS M50 kit 15-45 + 55-200 relies on 99 autofocus points, and with some lenses for the EF-M mount, their number grows by another 44 sensors. The native light sensitivity range of the camera matrix is measured in the range from 100 to 25600 ISO units, everything is considered to be working values up to ISO 3200. In the “shooting” mode, the mirrorless takes acceleration to 10 fps in series. The memory buffer is filled with ten RAW files or three dozen JPEG photos. The camera has a rotary screen with touch control, an electronic viewfinder, wireless communication modules Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC. In the “double kit” configuration, two lenses with a set of focal lengths of 15-45 mm and 55-200 mm are included with the “carcass” of the camera.

Компактний, ккрасивийну де ви ще бюачили білий фотік, з відкидним екраном, знімає 4 к. Я дуже задоволена покупкою. І відео знімаю і фотографії фоткаю

Не вистачає стабілізації та зйомки 4к 60 кадрів

I shoot vlogs with this camera. I was looking for a compact but high-quality solution with a fast manual zoom. I chose it precisely because of its compactness + not bad image quality. The shadows in the video editor are very well drawn out, even better in the photo. Autofocus is really fast, but I mostly focus with my hands. The funny thing is that there is no autofocus on 4K video, more precisely, there is no fast autofocus, there is only a standard one that no one uses. For that, it is at 1080p, and this upsets me, because at concerts I need autofocus at 4K. There is also another joint, in the flash. It opens only by hand. Is it really that expensive to install a spring? It doesn't bother me much, but sometimes it's inconvenient. I plan to buy a width and a fix for portraits for it, but something about the optics park is not very happy. I read on the forums that many people use a converter and use ordinary Ken lenses, but I still don’t understand if autofocus will work there. Photos are detailed and well-researched. I forgot to write that here is a very high-quality screen, the photos are very detailed on it, although I recently discovered that you can directly connect your phone to the photo and watch everything directly from it, so I use it as a viewfinder (sometimes). And speaking of the viewfinder, although it is equipped with a screen off sensor, I still don’t understand why it was necessary to place the viewfinder in the center of the camera? It is not comfortable. Otherwise, I’m happy with everything, for a blog / vlog + non-professional photography this is a great option

Shadows are perfectly drawn out, even very thick ones. Fast and tenacious autofocus (but it didn't work at 4K...) Good screen. The battery works quietly for several hours. Very simple and convenient menu. Compact. The whale lens is very worthy for its money.

A small park of optics for this system. The viewfinder is located inconveniently (in the center). The flash is purely mechanical, and can only be opened by pulling it out of the body (by hand).
