I bought it spontaneously - a new camera was sold after one day in operation for 60% of the cost. The previous owner bought a camera for video reporting, but after one day of work he realized that the camera did not suit him. I was tempted by the price for a new camera, I thought that if I didn’t like it, I could sell it without loss. After several days of use, the camera was put up for sale again, but after several months in the store I took it back. I use it only for photos. Mixed feelings, see below. Good autofocus after updating the firmware to 1.4. Confident performance in low light, decent image quality at low ISO. Good viewfinder, swiveling touchscreen. Quality item, fits well in hand, with an adapter Canon DSLR lenses work like native ones. Unique and insanely expensive native lenses. With the original firmware, the autofocus is weak, especially eye autofocus. After updating to firmware 1.4, it got much better, as if it were a different camera. The controls are unfamiliar compared to other DSLRs and mirrorless cameras; there's no usual mode dial, dedicated buttons for ISO, WB, exposure compensation, drive mode, etc. These functions are available and can be accessed without entering the camera menu, but they are implemented through different function buttons, which requires learning and takes more time. Initially, you'll definitely be scratching your head. The controls are entirely different on this camera, and you won't be able to use it alongside another DSLR, for example. The JPEG is subpar, with a rough image even at 100% zoom on minimum ISO; the sensor doesn't convey color nuances well in JPEG. Only converting from RAW, which is better, leads to the following downside: Large RAW files and bulky video files require a powerful computer for processing photos and videos. When shooting handheld, there's a lot of micro blur despite having a 24-105/2.4 kit lens with a stabilizer and no mirror in the camera. The price for 30 megapixels. The swivel screen mount raises concerns about its durability. Price. The native lenses are very expensive, thankfully Canon DSLR lenses work like native ones through an adapter. ![]() |
