Canon's debut in the full-frame mirrorless arena is an expensive pro tool with the widest range of photo and video capabilities. The camera features a 30MP full-frame image sensor with Dual Pixel technology for fast, quiet and smooth focus. There are a record number of focus points in the assets of the model — 5655 pcs. Notably, they are sensitive in low light down to -6 EV. The sensitivity range of the camera's matrix is measured from 100 to 40,000 ISO in standard mode, expandable to ISO 50-102400.

The model allows you to conduct burst photography at up to 8 fps, recording 14-bit RAW files. Video shooting on the Canon EOS R kit 24-105 is carried out in resolution up to 4K (3840x2160 pixels) with a frame rate of 30 fps. It also provides the ability to record clips in 4:2:2 10-bit to an external recorder. For sighting in the process of working with the camera, an electronic viewfinder or a touch screen that rotates in all axes is used. But the matrix stabilization of the mirrorless was “not brought up”, as well as the second slot for a memory card. The model uses the RF-mount. Attractive shutter sound, comfortable EVF, ideal focus in video, practical grip, cool pleasant materials, it’s wonderfully done that different keys are recessed differently, which negates unexpected presses, for example, the info or basket key. Personally, I also like the introduction and disabling of the camera, for me it is preferable in this way (in this way, rather than the unexpected activation of the UPC in the bag, which happened to me with a nikon. Convenient display of photos, although I do not share the opinion of those who say that multi-touch gestures are convenient for zooming. For me it is more comfortable and also faster with one key.
