We recommend
The variety of cables allows connecting up to 11 SATA devices, and the power of the 3.3 and 5-volt lines (150W) enables everything to run, unlike most PSUs with 100W on these lines. The PSU's length of 150mm + 20-30mm for cables doesn't allow it to fit properly in most budget and mid-range cases. The cable lengths are sufficient to connect everything, but they are quite stiff, and near the connectors, there's an additional rigid heat shrink.
Reviews mentioned a hum, like from a transformer - yes, when purchased, there was such an issue, but now everything is fine, possibly related to voltage drops in the network or coil whine.
