Comparatively inexpensive mid-range power supply with traditional (non-modular) cabling layout. The device is positioned by the manufacturer as a base price solution and is intended rather for use in low-cost configurations of universal home PCs or inexpensive gaming assemblies equipped with video cards that consume no more than 150 watts of power. Also, such a model can serve as a good source of energy for entry-level workstations (including those equipped with graphics accelerators).
The FSP ATX-500PNR power supply is based on a hardware platform with traditional circuitry. The unit is not 80 Plus certified or modular cabling certified. But it provides good output voltage stability, as well as low ripple and high-frequency noise. A controlled 120 mm ball bearing fan is used to cool the PCB elements. The list of connectors includes three SATA connectors and five MOLEX connectors at once.

Cool and good. I choose only FSP, and not one has let me down yet (and there have been 3 of them)! Works. I immediately turn on the computer and it roars like a Boeing, but once Windows has loaded, it runs quietly.  MaksimKo: use FSP PNR few months i recommend it should buy |

Not the quietest
Now about the nuances. Firstly, this block cannot be called silent, so when assembling a special “quiet” PC, it is better to look at other models. Secondly, the length of the cords for connecting the processor and the motherboard is only 31 cm, and when installing this power supply in a large case, they may simply not be enough.
