Electric induction hob with the function of combining the heating zones StepZone. It is positioned as an upper mid-range product with enhanced functionality, designed to be integrated into modern kitchen furniture solutions. Equipped with a high-quality scratch-resistant glass-ceramic worktable and a convenient SliderTouch electronic power control system. It differs from more affordable models by supporting numerous additional technologies.
The PowerBoost function allows you to temporarily (up to 10 minutes) boost the heat output of any of the four burners of the Gorenje IS 645 BG hob by up to 40%, which makes it possible to quickly boil large amounts of water. The TimeAssist multi-timer allows you to track the cooking time and automatically turn off the heating of individual zones according to time. The IQboil function quickly heats the water to a boil and then automatically reduces the power to prevent excess water evaporation.
The StayWarm mode maintains the temperature of cooked food at the optimum level (70°C). The IQsimmer function optimizes the heating power for slow cooking for many hours, which helps with dishes such as goulash or stir-fries. Using the IQgrill mode with four degrees of doneness prevents charring. Contaminants on the hob do not burn and can be easily removed with a regular sponge or cloth.

However, I want to leave a negative review regarding our experience with Gorenje's service. The documentation for this product states that the warranty is valid only if the stove is installed by an authorized service technician. Since we still had a bit of warranty time left, we decided to do it properly and called the Gorenje hotline. They gave us a contact for ACS Pobuttehservis, and when we called, we encountered such a blatant level of incompetence that the "authorized" status was questionable (I won't go into detail here, but I'll leave them a comprehensive review directly). After reading additional reviews about this company, we decided not to contact them at all.
After a second attempt, Gorenje gave us another service contact – ERC. Things started much better there: from the operator's work to the application via the website, etc. However, when it came down to it, and the request was submitted, we were supposed to receive a call to arrange a visit - the service went completely silent. We ourselves called them for two more days about this, and were promised several times that they would get in touch with us - and that was it.
That's our experience with two ACSs. And this is before anything even happened, thankfully; we just needed to connect new equipment. Now I hope even more that everything will work long and happily.
