I chose and bought this for my bathroom because of its size and impressive capacity. I live in a compact apartment often called "Khrushchyovka," where even the wall space in the combined bathroom is very limited. This boiler has a great height but relatively modest width and depth. As it turned out, the size and capacity are not the only merits of this water heater. I had never encountered electronic controls in such devices before, and it pleasantly surprised me. Dry heating elements. They are supposed to be much more durable than regular ones, but even if they burn out, you can replace them without disassembling or dismantling the tank itself. Additionally, it is promised that they produce less scale, though I personally doubt it – during routine cleaning and replacement of the magnesium anode, about two liters of scale were removed. The heated water is more or less sufficient for my family of 4 people. However, it should be noted that if you do use up all the hot water, it takes a long time to heat up new water. The electronic control unit is convenient and stylish. You can precisely set the water temperature and control it accurately. It can determine the wear level of the protective anode, which is helpful since this process is generally impossible to monitor by other means. Heats up slowly, almost four hours to reach a maximum of 75 degrees is WAY too long. Two kilowatts for a hundred liters is clearly not enough. It's understandable that the manufacturer wanted to keep the boiler's consumption within 10A, but, IMHO, it would have been better to provide three kilowatts of electric power. This would give a current of up to 14A, but a normal electrical system and outlets can handle at least 16A anyway. But this would have allowed the water heating time to be reduced by one and a half times (to 2.5 hours). |
When purchasing this device, you should know in advance that the tank there becomes unusable, just like on less expensive devices, after 2-3 years. In this case, a specialist must be invited from the combustion service center. Everything worked but not for long 08/26/14 purchased this unit; 01/03/17 the tank leaked. Although the tank has a 10-year warranty, I was refused warranty repairs. Since I installed the tank myself, I also maintained it myself. i recommend it don't buy |
I have a small apartment with a small combined bathroom, so it was difficult to find a place to install a standard “round” water heater. I had to look for something more compact. The 100 liter Gorenje model fit perfectly, they arranged both the dimensions and the power and speed of water heating. Water is heated by dry tubular electric heaters. They have a significantly longer service life due to the fact that they do not come into direct contact with water. Why is that? And here's why: no contact with water - no scale - no deterioration in heat transfer - no overheating of the heat-generating coil - the heating element lives happily ever after. There are two heating elements, by the way, i.e. 2 x 1000 W. They can work at the same time or only one of them. With the DigiTech electronic control, you can accurately set the water temperature, switch the water heater to economy mode and monitor the wear of the magnesium anode. True, wear control works with “fun” bugs, but more on that below. Well readable figures of water temperature on the LCD indicator. The indicator itself is also located correctly, i.e. at the bottom. The neighbor also has a Gorenje boiler, but with a pointer thermometer and it is located in the upper part of the body. So it is generally difficult to understand the thermometer readings on it. Warranty and availability of official service. When turned on after a month of inactivity of a de-energized water heater, the magnesium anode wear monitoring system reported that the anode was a kayuk. To say that I was surprised is to say nothing - the anode could not have dissolved in just seven months of work. It turned out that this is a false alarm, which happens precisely after a long downtime. This was written in the instructions and it still needs to be read sometimes))) |
