A slender boiler in a compact SLIM layout, armed with two "dry" heating elements with a power of 1 kW each. The internal tank of the product holds 80 liters of water. To protect against corrosion, the walls of the boiler tank are covered with enamel, and a magnesium anode is also installed in the bowels of the tank. The most interesting asset of the Gorenje OGBS 80 SMV9 is the Eco Smart self-learning programme.
Its meaning boils down to the fact that the water heater during the week collects information about the consumption of hot water during the day, on the basis of which it prepares the right amount of warm water for the specific needs of the household. True, if you remember the price, then you still need to calculate whether the savings will pay off, because the price of such a tank is also not for children. The main feature of this model is the latest ECO SMART technology. Savings are achieved through the correct use of timed heating. The main unproductive heat losses in any boiler occur through thermal insulation. No matter how good it is, the heat slowly leaves the large area of the tank and the hotter the water inside, the more heat will be lost. The included ECO SMART observes for seven days at what time it is spent, that is, the largest amount of water is drained into the mixer and shower. And then the field of this weekly training, he begins to regulate the temperature in the tank so that at the very right time it is maximum. It turns out that if my wife and I use the tank in the morning and in the evening, then it heats up the water to the full in the morning, then rests during the day, and then in the evening, that is, by our arrival, it warms up again. At night, he also has a period of rest, when the water in the tank remains warm, but not very hot, until almost morning. It turns out that most of the time when the tank is not in use, smart control keeps it at a low temperature and thus reduces heat loss. In addition to this tricky technology, it also has an antibacterial heating mode, all sorts of protections, a spectacular and visual LED temperature indicator, and other goodies. There are two heaters and they are of the "dry heating elements" type. ECO SMART technology monitors the situation throughout the day, but it does not know what Sunday is, and what is good on ordinary working days may not be very convenient on weekends. |
