I was looking for a pole ax to cut even (or not very twisted) small and medium diameter blocks. I wanted to try a more modern version of the pickaxe, rather than the usual pickaxe with a wooden handle. Given the brand, price and appearance - I chose this model. I chopped a little with it, some oak and apple trees. Kole chops well, I won't say it's perfect, but if you chop something straight and not very dry (blocks with a diameter of up to 30 cm - there are no problems). Which is true, thicker blocks need to be split into segments (and not split into 2 +/- equal halves, and then into smaller ones). The cleaver has a good shape, which allows you to stab like a cleaver and chop like an ax. The handle is comfortable, dampens most of the vibrations and recoil (much better compared to a wooden handle). At the end of the ax there is a hole by which it can be hung. There is a convenient cover/case into which the metal part of the cleaver is inserted, which is fixed in it. This case has a nail hole (so you can hook it) and a carrying handle. If the block (or log) is not straight, then be prepared for the fact that you will not split it the first time: the cleaver will get stuck in it. By the way, you can't take it "on both sides" to cut something (this is strictly prohibited). If the pen breaks, you won't be able to fill in a new one, so you need to protect your native pen, almost like the apple of the eye. During the kneeling, the handle near the blade was already frayed and torn, so I wrapped it a little with electrical tape (it can be seen in the photo) so as not to break it. The handmade sokyra is shaped like a cleaver. Brave for chopping firewood, having already split about 6 cubic meters of hard wood. The shape of the handle is not hand-made, but rather oval, rather than smooth. There are no problems with splitting firewood due to the shape of the wedge; with a vase of up to 2 kg, you can split a log with a diameter of up to 40 cm, which is true not in one blow. The handles were so metallic that they burned out, there was no power, there were no creases or chips, the handle was rubbed a bit, but it didn’t flow into the work.
