A professional tool in the recognizable corporate style of the German brand Karcher for both active home use and commercial use. The high-pressure aluminium pump is powered by a 3-kilowatt water-cooled asynchronous motor. At maximum speed, Karcher K 7 produces a water jet under pressure up to 160 bar, providing "pumping" about 600 liters of water in 1 hour. There are practically no tasks of an unbearable format for a washing unit with such data.
Out of the box, the model is equipped with a Vario-Power nozzle with a wide spray pattern and a dirt blaster that produces a narrow high-pressure jet. Also in the device, the branded Plug'n'Clean systems (replacement of detergent in one movement of the hand) and Quick Connect (quick connection of a high-pressure hose with a minisink) have been used. So that the mains cable does not get under your feet, the unit has a hook for hanging its excess. The model turned out to be overall (97x40x46 cm) and heavy (19.2 kg), but a 10-metre hose comes to the rescue of the user.

We bought it for a private house, the first task that the sink had to face was to wash 6 pallets of natural stone before laying. Passed the test with a bang! When cleaning concrete, the sprouted grass is removed directly from the root. The weight of the sink pleases, it stands still as if rooted to the spot. There is such an opinion in my head - the heavier, the more reliable :) I immediately bought a filter for rough water purification and a foam gun. The original filter is unreasonably expensive, 2 plastic masks + mesh - 400 UAH. The foam gun was ordered on AliExpres, about $23. You can't do without a car wash. Of course, you can use chemistry from the original container, but in this way it practically does not foam, and immediately slides to the ground. Power, high-quality materials, high-quality performance (as with any Karcher device) The price for a device that seems to be needed, but it seems possible without it - is expensive! I have a fairly large house with a swimming pool and a three car garage. Therefore, when I needed to buy a high-pressure washer, I immediately remembered Karcher's equipment. This company is the market leader, and their products are a model for comparison. Picked up one of their high end household models. The power of the jet is just fantastic. Not for nothing in the manual and on the stickers on the case more than once they warn that the high-pressure jet should not be directed at people and animals. I don't know what a person can feel, but I managed to damage a tyre on a car. Live the century - the RTFM century (read the user manual). It was just written there that the distance to the tyre should be at least 30 centimeters. The standard outlet pressure is 150 atm, so be careful and even better reduce the pressure with the Vario Power nozzle. But if you use this power wisely, then it washes any dirt and not only from the car. Concrete, asphalt, brick, tile, durable plastics - it can wash absolutely everything. The only thing that turned out to be too tough for her was a plaque of hardness salts on the walls of the pool. Another advantage I would like to include is a long ten-meter high-pressure hose that is durable, a brass pump protected by filters, and a water-cooled electric motor that allows you to work as long as you need. For some reason, in the descriptions of online stores, the equipment of this expensive sink is called rich. But, in my opinion, for such money, there should be something more interesting in the package than two standard nozzles and a liter of detergent. They put at least a jet tube with a swivel nozzle, or something. But no, we will sell it separately, for $32. Goons, damn it. |
"Charged" version of the household "Karcher"
The high pressure washer Karcher K 7 can be classified as an advanced and well thought out model. It has excellent technical characteristics. For example, its 3000 W motor is water-cooled, which guarantees protection against overheating if the water inlet does not exceed 60°C. Moreover, the pump is made of aluminium and provides high performance (600 l / h), which allows you to clean up to 60 sq.m. surface per hour, according to the manufacturer.
Adjusting the jet to your taste
The Karcher K 7 minisink has a water pressure of up to 160 bar, which makes it easy to cope with dirt on concrete and stone with the included rotary nozzle. However, the high pressure of the jet can damage some surfaces, such as the car body, so the set also includes a Vario Power jet nozzle that allows you to adjust the width of the "fan" and the water flow in a wide range (from 20 bar to maximum). The swivel head also has a MIX position for spraying detergent. Chemistry supply can be regulated by means of the handle on the case.

It is worth mentioning separately the detergent supply system. The Karcher company takes care of its customers and tries to convince them of the quality of its auto chemicals, which, by the way, is really of a decent level. For this, a system based on Plug 'n' Clean cans was developed, designed to supply washing liquid. They have a unique triangular shape and special caps that prevent other cans from being used in the Plug 'n' Clean slot. So that you can immediately try Karcher chemistry, a liter can of universal detergent is supplied with the minisink.
Another unpleasant moment associated with the use of the Karcher K 7 minisink is the high pressure hose. Although it is quite long (10 meters), it can sometimes cause inconvenience. This is due to the fact that the hose braid is made of hard plastic, and it constantly tries to twist into a spiral. Unfortunately, there is no special drum for convenient winding of the hose. You may eventually want to purchase the more flexible rubber braided hose found in the Karcher accessories catalog. There you can also find full-fledged foam nozzles for mini-washes of this brand, which allow you to use not only car shampoo, but also active foam for washing cars.
Purchased in 2020 by bank transfer. As a result, at the first turn on, the Karcher k7 mud cutter turned out to be defective - it did not work at all. Naturally turned to the service center in Kharkov for warranty repair-replacement. My suspicions were justified - the cutter of the Karcher K7 minisink turned out to be defective. As they said at the Karcher service center, the quality is no longer the same. As a result, they were refused by Karcher due to "warranty repairs for household appliances do not apply for commercial use." At the same time, it should be noted that the company from which I purchased this product is engaged in the sale of equipment, and not washing cars or construction or the like (the sink was supposed to be used to wash paving slabs around a small office space), the sink is in perfect condition, as reported by the service center directly Karcher and provided a photo, there are no damages and the like on it. Karcher himself did not directly conduct any diagnostics and concluded that it was commercially used only because it was purchased by bank transfer!
It was rather difficult to get through to the call center, but it was not realistic to talk to any of the staff and no one called back as promised even once (he called more than 10 times). Only a "talking head" will tell you that they will call you back, etc., etc.
Now you have to go to court on principle, especially since there is judicial practice in such cases
