To be honest, such a device was a discovery for me and I came across it when, after the birth of twins, I began to look for ways to solve quick ironing. I never thought that an ironing press would become my favorite thing in the house. He made my life a lot easier and I forgot what it was like to have pain in my back and arms from putting things in order. The only negative is the display is in English. The instructions in the box were included in Russian. But since there are only 4 buttons on the panel, I didn’t have to figure it out much. You also set the mode based on the type of fabric: nylon, silk, wool, cotton, linen. And it automatically sets the temperature for ironing. There is also a special tank for steaming clothes. The press heats up in less than a minute. And you can start working. It’s very simple: you place the cloth on the surface and close the lid on top. We wait a few seconds until a beep sounds. The press operates on mains power, not on batteries. You can smooth and tidy absolutely any item from your wardrobe this way. There is also such an important function as automatic shutdown if you do not use it for more than 10 minutes. By the way, I forgot to mention that I use filtered water for the ironing press, otherwise the water in my city is too hard and can ruin the parts. Heating and steam supply from two sides
The MIE Romeo II features include the fact that not only the upper, but also the lower platform heats up. This feature is designed to increase the efficiency of ironing and speed up the drying of wet things. The Teflon-coated top platform provides 60kg of ironing pressure, enough for most household needs, including ironing multiple folded laundry.
The press is ready for operation within 3 minutes after switching on, for which a 2200-watt heater is responsible. It also vaporizes water, which must be added to a removable 800 mL transparent reservoir. By the way, steam is also supplied from two platforms. And the user can choose either the bottom or top feed, or both at once. The steam intensity reaches 120 g/min, but there is no power adjustment, as suggested by MIE Europa.

MIE Romeo II received a control panel with a display that allows you to set one of five temperature modes in the range from 60 to 220 °C. Each of them corresponds to popular types of fabric: respectively nylon, silk, wool, cotton and linen. The security system is represented by an audible alarm and automatic shutdown in case of prolonged closing (more than 10 seconds) or inactivity (more than 15 minutes of inactivity).
