Fast and efficient
The ironing press manufactured by MIE has a large working surface (81x29 cm), which is several times larger than the soleplate of any modern iron. The instrument's 2200 watt heater takes approximately 3 minutes to bring the liquid in the 800 mL reservoir to a vapor state.
The pressing pressure of MIE Romeo III reaches 60 kg, which is enough to effectively smooth out the most unruly garments (thick and overdried) or laundry folded several times.
5 temperatures and 2 steam settings
The press supports 5 temperature settings, optimal for the most popular types of fabric, namely synthetics (60 °C), silk, wool, cotton and linen (220 °C). For synthetic products, steam supply is not available due to insufficient heating temperature. In other modes, you can increase the efficiency of wrinkle removal due to steam generation. And in addition to the standard intensity (90 g / min), the Booster mode with enhanced steam supply (120 g / min) is offered: it is available for wool, cotton and linen.
With the setting of operating parameters, a convenient control panel with buttons and a display is designed to help. The latter shows the current heating temperature in real time.
Safe and well stocked
To avoid damage to things and/or other force majeure, an audible alarm (tells when it's time to open the press) and an automatic shutdown system will help. The latter is activated when the platforms are closed for a long time (more than 10 seconds) or when the device is idle in the open position (more than 15 minutes).
The nice features of the model include a pair of anti-scale filters in the package. These replacement cartridges allow you to use regular tap water, and the provided indicator will warn you when a replacement is needed. The press also comes with a pair of covers, a lining for ironing contour surfaces and a branded bag. On the market, the device is found in three colour variations: silver, white or black.
