Compact wireless router of the AX1800 class, running RouterOS operating system with the ability to flexibly configure the router to suit your needs. The model is made in a perforated case with dimensions 120x101x37 mm. It is supposed to be installed both horizontally and vertically - in both cases, the router takes up minimal space. The cable from the Internet provider is connected to the router via a gigabit WAN connector, and the model also has four LAN ports of the Gigabit Ethernet standard.
The device boasts support for Wi-Fi 6 in two frequency ranges: 2.4 GHz with data transfer speeds up to 574 Mbit/s and 5 GHz with throughput up to 1200 Mbit/s. Hidden inside the MikroTik hAP ax2 are omnidirectional antennas with a gain of 4.5 dBi for the 2.4 GHz band and 4 dBi for the 5 GHz band. To improve the quality of signal transmission clearly in the direction of client gadgets, Beamforming technology is provided. Moreover, the model implements network protection using the WPA3 security protocol and has PoE power functions (both incoming and outgoing).

A powerful 4-core processor and 1 GB of RAM allow for fast data processing. Users can manage settings via a web interface or command line (CLI). A certain level of knowledge is required to implement advanced RouterOS functions.
Speed and stability
MikroTik hAP ax2 provides high connection speeds both via cable and Wi-Fi. It is equipped with 4 Gigabit LAN ports and supports Wi-Fi 6 in two bands - 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. The maximum speed at 5 GHz reaches 1200 Mbps, and enhanced antennas (4.5 dBi for 2.4 GHz and 4 dBi for 5 GHz) maintain a reliable connection over long distances. The Beamforming function automatically adapts the signal, directing it to connected devices for maximum performance.
Power supply without a socket
One of the advantages of the router is its power supply flexibility: it supports both connection via a standard adapter and PoE technology, which allows power and data to be transmitted over long distances via a single cable. The router is also equipped with a PoE output, which allows you to connect additional equipment, such as a repeater, to increase the Wi-Fi coverage area.
