High-performance wireless home router, supporting high-speed connections with Wi-Fi 6 (802.11b/g/n/ac/ax) technology, multi-threaded data transmission MU-MIMO, Link Aggregation channel aggregation function, fast Ethernet networks up to 1 Gbit/s, and advanced security protocols. Positioned as a 2024 mid-range product, aimed at use in a city apartment, cottage, or small office.
To fully utilize the potential of the Xiaomi AX3000T router, a high-speed internet connection from the provider at 1 Gbit/s is required. Like other high-performance Xiaomi Mi routers, this model can operate simultaneously in two Wi-Fi bands (at 2.4 GHz the theoretical bandwidth reaches 574 Mbit/s, and at 5 GHz with 2x2 MU-MIMO technology, it reaches up to 2402 Mbit/s).
A high-performance dual-core Mediatek Filogic 820 (Cortex-A53) processor and powerful radio modules provide stable connections for a large number of devices. The real bandwidth of such a router is sufficient for all typical household tasks, including watching and streaming ultra-high-definition video, video conferencing, low-latency gaming, comfortable surfing, working with multimedia files in the cloud or NAS storage. For high-speed connection to the provider's network, there are 4 GbE LAN ports, each of which can serve as a WAN port.

Not a bad model, but there are some details that I'll describe now. First of all, it looks great: futuristic, modern, and bright. It has a lot of settings, especially through the proprietary Xiaomi Home app. It's easy to set up, and anyone can figure it out without any effort. I have the global version, so all settings items are readable and the frequencies don't violate legislation. The speed delivers as stated without any issues, there are no drops or slowdowns in the adjacent rooms of the apartment, the coverage is very stable. Suitable for high-quality streaming, cloud gaming, and generally for most tasks. When connecting a large number of devices, it doesn't slow down or lag. The indicator light can be turned off in the app if it bothers you. The WAN port is not fixed, which is convenient. Number of ports - a total of 4. I didn't have enough to connect my first-generation smart TV to the network, and since I also have a PC with wired connection plus a couple of surveillance cameras - all ports are occupied with no alternatives. When the outside temperature is above 30 degrees and it's more than 26 in the apartment, it overheats and starts disconnecting devices from Wi-Fi, meaning everything works via cable, but the laptop and phone "leave the chat" and keep constantly reconnecting. When it's not hot, I haven't noticed such problems. People on forums say it's a defect and that thermal paste wasn't applied to the chip, but since the device is under official warranty, I don't want to tinker with it. Since I bought it in winter, I only noticed this during the heat. I also noticed that sometimes instead of full WIFI6 speed, it only provides 190 megabits, which is the maximum for 2.4 GHz, a reboot helps, and then it delivers the claimed ~900 Mbps. ![]() |
