It features a SteamGlide Elite soleplate that glides easily on any fabric and is non-stick and scratch-resistant. In addition to regular dry ironing, the device is also designed for steaming. The regulator allows you to select the optimal temperature depending on the type of material.

A separate eco-mode is provided, in which the equipment consumes energy much more economically. And for steaming, two operating modes are provided: a constant supply of steam at a speed of up to 50 g/min or a more intense but short-term burst of steam (250 g/min), which better copes with complex folds and dense fabrics. In addition, the Philips Azur 7000 Series DST 7051 allows vertical steaming - for example, if you need to quickly refresh a suit hanging on a hanger without using an ironing board.

The anti-drip system prevents water from leaking and causing wet spots on clothes. A spacious 300 ml water tank makes it possible to iron a large amount of laundry without the need for refilling. The auto-shut-off function is responsible for safety: if the device is left unattended, it will turn itself off after 30 seconds on the sole or after 8 minutes in a vertical position. Another useful addition is the Quick Calc Release anti-scale protection: a special container for collecting deposits and a self-cleaning function. These measures help maintain high steam performance and extend the life of the iron.
