No, no, dear, miracles do not happen. As there is no good sound for 699 UAH. I was walking around a big store and for some reason I bought this nonsense. I came home and started listening to such a good band "Avenue X" for 2019 from the IBasso DX-150 player. A kind of slightly opopsenny progressive rock like "Asia". Then I listened through an old, battered pair of Sony MDR-XB400 ears. Well, and then - through the Bayerdynamic 770 (32-ohm version). And finally understood what Confucius wanted to say. Do not give in to random desires. These headphones (I'm talking about the Sony MDR-ZX310) are a complete disappointment. When folded, they take up little space. You can, for example, shove it into your pocket. You can listen to audiobooks Such a bad pressure on the auricle: their long-term use turns into a test. The sound goes on a common front without detail. Attempts to listen to complex, multi-component music will not succeed: the aesthetics of the acoustic stream is being killed. Everything is distorted - low, medium, and high frequencies. The volume is minimal, the scene is utterly reduced. Well-known and favorite works of pleasure do not cause. Sadly. In general, I can hardly imagine my usual day without headphones. I leave them at home and listen to the news for 10 minutes to the metro via TuneIn, then a half-hour trip to the metro, during which I now practice my English, listen to music on the way to the office, at work it is also easier to wear headphones than without them. Especially when the work is simple and mechanical. I bought these ears to replace the old ones I lost. They were also from Sony and I went through them for a whole year and a half. There was a suitable device, but ... I forgot it in the minibus. I put it on the seat next to me for a second, and then there was an important incoming call, and then my stop. I went out, walked away a couple of tens of meters, and only then I realized that the headphones had left. Stayed true to the brand and bought this model. When not in use, they fold up beautifully. Lungs weigh a little, a little over a hundred grams. They feel normal on the head, there is no excessive pressure, the ear cushions are soft and the ears do not suffer from them, and after a while you can forget about them. The pluses include unexpectedly good soundproofing. Since I spend almost an hour every day on the subway, this is very important for me. The sound is good. Of course, this is not a high-end device, and expecting amazing detail from ears for 27 bucks is stupid. But the sound is pleasant, bass in particular. The high-frequency range is distorted in places, but it does not hurt the ear. You also need to praise a plump elastic cable with an L-shaped jack. The headband plastic is inexpensive and does not look very strong. The folding and turning mechanism is also entirely made of plastic, so it is very desirable to handle it as carefully and delicately as possible. The legendary Japanese brand is considered to be a guarantee of the quality of the musical products on which its logo is applied. The Sony MDR-ZX310 headphones are the leader in the low-cost segment with an original design and good sound, as for a model priced at 20 USD.
Appearance
Externally, the headphones are very reminiscent of their closest competitor Panasonic RP-HF300. Here, there is a folding design, and 4 colours, and comfortable soft ear cushions made of high-quality leatherette, and a 1.2 m long double-sided cable with an L-shaped mini-Jack plug. And the adjustable headband will not interfere if you suddenly want to put on glasses at the same time as the headphones. There is a place for their temples.
The build quality is on top and there is absolutely nothing to complain about, except perhaps for a not very long cable, but the emphasis is obviously placed on the versatility of the model, and a long cord in motion is only a burden.

Let's move on to sound. There are no complaints about low frequencies. Bass sounds juicy, accented and deep, the same can be said about the low mids. But the high middle and top are littered and poorly legible. Although, it must be admitted that it is unfair to put forward claims to the sound at this price level. But let's be objective to the end.
Given the small diameter of the ear cushions (30 mm), they do not completely cover the ear, and there is no need to talk about full-fledged two-way sound insulation. In this regard, some users may not have enough volume in noisy places, the sensitivity of the model is not the best — 98 dB.
Otherwise, we can safely state that the MDR-ZX310 is an attractive low-cost model with a fashion bias and a good low-frequency sound.
