Full-size over-ear headphones of the strongest middle rank with a combined connection to the audio source. In particular, the model has acquired a wireless Bluetooth v 5.2 connection, and its sound can be revealed "to the fullest" using a wired connection via a 3.5-mm audio jack. Directly in the cable is a built-in signal amplifier - the most powerful sound of the headset is achieved by pressing the ULT button.
It is provided by a bundle of 40-mm dynamic drivers and a built-in V1 processor. In wireless mode, Sony WH-ULT900 produce a more modest sound. The headphones have acquired an advanced ANC active noise reduction system with a transparency mode, a "noise suppressor" for the microphone, and convenient touch controls. A full battery charge is enough for about 30 hours of listening to music with noise reduction and 40 hours of playing audio tracks without "noise suppression". At the same time, in just 3 minutes the headphones can be charged for an hour and a half of subsequent autonomous work. The model is equipped with a case for storage and transportation, as well as an additional audio cable. It is supposed to flexibly adjust the sound of the headphones through the proprietary Headphones Connect application from Sony.

I have been using the headphones for 2 months now, and they are amazing. The sound is balanced, and using them is a pleasure. The ULT button is a whole different story). Without it, you hear just quality sound without separately highlighted frequencies. When activating the first mode, you feel an increased bass, but it is pleasant, not "pounding" in your ears; in the maximum bass mode, you feel like you are at a concert, as if you are standing right in front of the speakers, with very vibrant bass, while the overall sound does not deteriorate and even becomes a bit louder. This is my first device with active noise cancellation, and I am immensely satisfied. When activated, almost everything that can interfere with listening to music (transport sounds, people's conversations, street repair work) disappears, and you feel like you are in a movie, separated from the surrounding world. The transparency mode is also excellent; sometimes you even forget you are wearing them, you can hear absolutely everything. When I tried them on for the first time in the store, they fit perfectly, as if they were made just for me, very comfortable, soft, and they don’t pinch at all, you can wear them for hours. The microphone was an important criterion for me, and it is excellent here, you will be heard perfectly even outside. It is hard to say about the durability of the ear cushions; only time will tell, the current result is in the photo. The battery is good, they charge very quickly (in 2-3 minutes ~20-30%, which is enough for at least an hour of use). Although the autonomy is good, I felt that 40 hours is not the case. The controls are convenient, the buttons are easy to find by touch. There is no water resistance here, so it’s better not to use them in the rain/snow. And they can't be hidden under a hood...
