Now in retail and online stores there is a huge selection of storage boilers. It is not surprising, the devices are relatively inexpensive, they are simple and show themselves reliably in operation. Thanks to the large range of low-cost models, there is always a temptation to save money, but I would not recommend doing this. Savings are made on the thickness of the tank wall, but then, in case of corrosion problems, this thickness becomes the main defender against leakage. So sawing the branch on which you are going to sit is initially stupid. This is an accumulative boiler of the European quality level. The Tesy brand has been producing similar equipment in Bulgaria for many years and we can say that it has already been tested by time. The boiler is 80 liters, rather heavy, with a thick-walled inner tank. Its main feature is its suitability for horizontal installation. It would not have been possible to place it in a different position in my bathroom, there was stupidly no place for vertical installation. In addition, it has signature tricks in the form of a new cold water nozzle that reduces mixing. This technology is called Piston Effect and allows you to get more really hot water. It can heat water up to 65 degrees. The heating element here is quite powerful two-kilowatt, so such heating takes a relatively long time, about two hours. If you do as the manufacturer recommends and heat up to 50 degrees, then you can keep within an hour and a half. Temperature control here is the simplest, mechanical regulator. This is a proven and reliable way. The inside of the tank is enamelled, as it should be, there is a protective anode and protection against overheating. The safety valve is included. The thermometer here is approximate, when you drain the hot water and a cold one enters the boiler, it starts to lie very noticeably. |
