Power 4 devices at once
The Ugreen CD224 GaN charger features four ports: three USB C and one USB A. This allows you to charge up to four devices simultaneously, eliminating the need for additional tees.
The device is versatile, supporting charging Apple, Dell, Asus, Lenovo laptops, as well as most smartphones, tablets and small gadgets such as wireless headphones. An important feature is the intelligent protection system against overloads, overheating, short circuits and other unforeseen situations.
The charger dimensions are 65x65x33mm, which is comparable to the Apple Power Adapter 67W with one port, but the Ugreen CD224 model weighs 280 grams, which is quite heavy for devices in this class.
Fast charging
The charger supports various fast charging standards, including PD and Quick Charge 4.0+, and is also compatible with Huawei and Samsung protocols. This expands the range of compatible devices that can charge quickly.
The top two USB C ports can output up to 65W each, the bottom Type C can output up to 18W, and the USB A can output up to 22.5W. When using multiple ports simultaneously, the total power drops to 63 W for two, 54 W for three, and 51 W for all four ports. Thus, even under full load, charging will be quite fast.
The Ugreen CD224 is an excellent choice for charging multiple devices simultaneously when access to outlets is limited and the use of tee cables is not desirable.
