Надійний, довго прослужив, та й ще у чудовому стані.
На момент коли його купував був вигідніший за SSD, зараз ця первага майже зникла Доволі холодний під навантаженям. Булькає та торохтить при роботі, як і всі HDD.

The disk has worked for a little more than 23,000 hours. Google says that it is 2.6 years.
I have always used WD drives and they have never died or even had errors. There is also WD green for 500 GB. There are generally 60,000 hours and no errors. It does not make a loud noise. Normal, without crackling, which I heard from friends with disks from other manufacturers. The system has a clean 931 GB. I took it purely for games. The flight is normal. Reliable, not loud. Wide range
More valuable in the lineup are drives with higher capacity — they provide a higher ratio of capacity to the dollar spent. And if you need more speed, there are also 7,200 rpm discs among these models, the cost of which is not very high. As for this 2 TB model, here we have an average speed for linear reading and writing at the level of approximately 150 MB / s. For a disc of this class, this is quite a high figure.
Virtually silent
Low-speed WD Blue are distinguished by reduced noise levels, heating and, as a result, greater durability. The minimum noise level during search/recording is 27 dB, unlike most competitors, which give out 30 dB or more. The idle speed is even less — 23 dB. This one works discreetly even at night, taking downloaded torrents or unpacking a new toy. Plus, it has a built-in power saving function that completely shuts off the engine when idle.

Насправді купув цей HDD коли 2500 грн коштували 250ГБ SSD, а цей WD Blue коштував 1200-1300 грн, тобто це було років 6-8 тому. І так, він досить працює як файлосховище. Але все що написав згори має місце бути, я не бачу в ньому сенсу, я зробив собі тиху потужну систему. І коли я щось запусаю з цього диска, я прям чую як він булькає, як чайник на плиті. Швидкість в порівняні з SATSIII SSD просто мізерна, а він на секундочку в 7200об, а в порівняні з м.2 на pcie 4.0 то він як слимак, котрий нікуди не спішить. Зараз я на ньому встановлюю старі ігри, які не потребуть швидкості від накопичувача, але вже думаю що пора його разом з WD Green викидати із системи і переходити сугубо на SSD.
